Has anyone opted for the 3in OD exit to avoid having to modify the rear diffuser? Wondering if those would look too small in the opening. I found a 51mm inlet/76mm outlet combo on AE.

I ordered 4 pieces total. The tips are sold individually. Each muffler has two tips. Proper outlet size is 105 x 75 mm, inlet size (ie the outer diameter of your tailpipes where the tips will slide over and attach) depends on your specific application and should be measured. Borla tailpipes are 2 inches, about 51 mm. I don't know stock or other systems', but a cheap set of calipers will tell you.
Awesome thread considering authentic Akrapovic tips x4 cost about 1500 dollars and are actually CF and titanium... The fake Akra express fix droning issue, good job done by chinese folks! I've got Akrapovic titanium exaust (outstanding sound) on both of my kawasaki ninja, however regarding my stinger I would go for AliXpress solution just to fix after market exaust droning issue and get a better look on the rear. Not sure if I would choose model with fake logo but definetely a must have.

“Fake” exhaust tips? Did this really need to be added? Does this contribute to the discussion in any meaningful way? To the extent an exhaust tip can actually be fake since they serve no function other than ascetics.

I mean fake Akrapovic, not fake exaust tips. I said that's awesome how efficient they are to fix droning issue so they don't serve only ascetics... That's only my opinion when I say I would go for stealth ones, without logo just to respect a company that I like by being a customer.
I think this to be added as few people questioned previously about this brand and had no clue about it.

Exhaust tips themselves are ascetics. It’s where the exhaust ends that causes the resonance off the underbody that’s causes the drone. The exhaust tips provide a visual incentive while also carrying the exhaust to the rear bumper cover.
With or without the logo is a personal preference but to call them “fake” for the function they perform and the fact that exhaust tips are a personal preference is a bridge too far.

That's what happen when a french guy try explaining himself I guess. I should have said counterfeit instead of fake. Let's put this way: I like Aliexpress tips and will install them but will not calling them Akrapovic tips. When everybody talks about Borlas tips, we know we're talking about something expensive made in USA. The day will come for China to duplicate them, in that case I don't believe we'll call them Borla tips. Anyway, hope nobody took my post in a bad way. Ecko04, thanks for your clear explanation, in future will choose my words carefully.

I checked your location and I figured that’s what happened. Just a breakdown in how we communicate things but we’re essentially saying the same thing. The tips work and probably best to get them without the logo. Cheers mate!
You’re talking about exhaust piping diameter. I’m speaking specifically of the exhaust outlet, which is where the tips attach. It’s crucial to differentiate between the two.
The MBRP reuses the factory “faux” exhaust tips that don’t mount directly to the exhaust. The tips in this thread do mount directly to the exhaust to car the exhaust, in a connected fashion, through the rear bumper cover, which is not only visually pleasing, but also prevents dumping the exhaust before the rear of the car causing unwanted resonance.

I hope you are mistaken because all the other MBRP owner claim they ordered 63mm in tips. I recently ordered those tips and the exhaust, hope it works.
