So, what I did was based on this thread on the jb4tech forum..
Hey guys, Been playing around with the flashing system for a couple weeks now and overall it's pretty impressive! It lets you load flash maps (and updates!) at home without having to ship and mail around your ECU. We've got a pretty solid JB4 back end flash map developed now. Changes include...

I took the bin file that you get from reading the ECU data once patched, sent it to Terry, along with a photo of the EK1 screen showing my application ID (CKKN3TMD_G1B in my case), the
VIN of the car, the serial number of the EK1 (I just send a photo of the back of the unit), the list of
mods on my car and paypal $75 to him, and inside of 10 minutes, he sent back a an ekp file with a custom tune.
I flashed this to my car (only took about 3 minutes) and went for a ride. The timing is definitely more aggressive, I kept it on map 1, had some corrections so he suggested to just run map 0 (damn 91 California gas), should be at least the same as map 1 with the stock flash. I can maybe add a splash of E85 to perk up the octane a bit.
I did a run on map 7, but I am at altitude right now (about 4000 feet), need to wait to see how it does at the track.
Anyway, I will be toying around for a few days to get a feel for it, definitely woke it up a bit.
