Thursday week for me.
It takes me 30 mins to get car on the jack stand.
Mainly because I use factory jack. I should get a floor jack.
Already did back sway last month and planning to do front soon. Will keep both on soft. Then planning to try front soft and rear hard.
Which GTi?
It was a 2010 GTi, Eibach all around, it always felt like a little race car, tight turn in, a little bit of oversteer, but just compliant enough over the bumps to make it very livable.
That sound just like how I feel about the Stinger now with the sway bars.
I've got rear swaybar on now, front sway and endlinks and springs are in the garage waiting for an install. Rear sway was very satisfying, but still too soft for my tastes. I'm sure that with all of them installed I'll be quite satisfied with where it's at.
You are going all out. I just don't want to deal with spring lowering the ride height and causing alignment issues. I did that on my Mazdaspeed 3 and swore it was not worth the hassle.
Nice job, enjoy the upgrade.Installation completed by Dealer at Blacktown. Mechanic hadn't done an installation before but knew rear bracket on passenger side would be difficult. He chose to loosen chassis bolts which gave more room to work....easy. Front literally falls off.
After test drive his first comment was "it's made a big difference and feels more stable". He was very impressed, as was I on the drive home. Took 2hrs which included road test and me asking a lot of questions during installation. Total cost $275. I can't say I notice a difference in the front but the rear is really tight and near no movement over an uneven section of road. Only driven for 20 minutes so far but my first impressions are very positive.
As rear wheels were off I took the opportunity to thoroughly clean and apply ceramic coating to wheel barrels.

Not exactly the full report that you were looking, but a quick update from me.Dazzabozza and Zeropenguins, we want a full report on the handling when fitted!
I agree about the weight. Both Eibach bars are thicker than OEM, with the rear being solid and the front tubular. I can only assume the OEM's are both solid. Not exactly the full report that you were looking, but a quick update from me.
John Hughes at Welshpool charged me $338 dollars (was initially quoted at $380) to install the front and back swaybars.
Unfortunately, I do not really have any amazing first impressions as the roads here in Perth has been very wet for the past few days, and I didn't feel comfortable doing some hard turns + acceleration to test. I did notice that the suspension (?) feels slightly stiffer (e.g. slightly more harsh) but driving wise everything does feel good so far. On a side note, the Eibach sways were waaayyy more heavier than the stock ones, I noticed a big difference when carrying the stock ones back into my house, it was super light compared to the Eibach sways.
I will update back when the weather is a bit more decent and when I get an opportunity to drive my car again (I work in the CBD now, so I mostly just take public transport).
yep I do realise this but to be honest I was expecting to feel a lot more. The handling is marginally better, I'm thinking my Eibach springs obviously helped when I had those fitted last September. Back to the Mountain tomorrow for another goThe Stinger will never handle like a WRX
