Yea I was looking for cheap filter and oil because I wanted to do the CRC carbon cleaning thing and then do an engine flush so I thought I would drain the oil after the CRC and put the cheap oil and filter on with the engine flush run the engine for ten minutes and drain the oil and change the filter again.^^My point was you deal directly with the third party seller, not with amazon for any issues.
Not for me, I'm located in Canada, this item is not available to me.It's on Amazon, so you can buy it and check it out, and if you don't like send it back.
Off topic, how do you like your Mando ECS10?Do yourself a favour and slap in a kayak style access port to easily access the drain plug

Stripped drain plug
I bought my ‘18 GT1 used and when I tried doing the oil change, I noticed the bolt was stripped.. horribly stripped. Any suggestions on how to remove it? That bar is too close and isn’t allowing me to use a strip tool and ratchet.stingerforum.org
And replace the drain plug with a quick change valve.

draining oil on 2022, must I remove bottom cover???????
I'm sure this has been addressed somewhere, but I can't find anything and the manual is ridiculously ambiguous. I just got a 22 stinger with the 3.3 liter. I've learned on this forum that the filter is a top mount under the cover? Can anyone confirm this? And also, do I need to remove that...stingerforum.org
And then the only semi messy part is the stupid cartridge filter.
Hello, I stumbled across this forum while searching for oil and oil filters for my Stinger, so I registered and I came across your post when searching this forum for best place to order Kia OEM parts.I have no way of comparing the filtration capability of the two filters. But the WIX filter looks to be of higher quality. The pleated cellulose filtration material is neater looking and is a perty yellow color vs the beige of the KIA, lol. Instead of the paper-looking end caps on the OEM that you have to force onto the filter housing cap in order to seat (and which I believe may make the cap harder to thread back on to the housing), the WIX filter simply snaps into place nicely with its plastic end caps. Fit and finish, the WIX seems better. They are both made in S Korea. The OEM filters are stamped 'Mahle' on the end caps, which may be difficult to read since the yellow ink bleeds into the porous material. Mahle Group is a worldwide powerhouse in automotive parts headquartered in Germany, so the OEM filter is IMO still of good quality. I would be curious as to whether a fleece filter would work with the Stinger, and whether someone will come along and produce one. Probably not likely with the very short oil change intervals recommended by Kia. This time around I set my service interval at 7K miles. Give me a fleece filter option and I'd think about going to 10K miles.
what engine you have?Hello, I stumbled across this forum while searching for oil and oil filters for my Stinger, so I registered and I came across your post when searching this forum for best place to order Kia OEM parts.
I haven't found an answer to that question and from what I've seen so far, nobody has posted since 2020, but I haven't looked at the forum much past this so maybe there's more recent posts, but anyway, I seen an oil filter with a silicone gasket and the filter part is made of a synthetic fiber blend, it wasn't an OEM part, it was STP extended life oil filter, but heard that filters made with these materials are supposed to be a longer lasting filter. Not sure if there's an OEM filter that's madewith those materials though. From the maybe 3 online Kia parts dealers I've found it doesn't say anything about the materials. Maybe it wasn't an option a couple years ago?? I'm not a car buff or what you call it.
I'm probably gonna go with the STP filter for now, at AutoZone with a deal on 2, 5 quart jugs of oil and a cabin air filter. Coming to about $67. Not sure if that's a good deal or not plus whatever the garage is gonna charge for an oil change. But I was wanting to stay OEM until finding out about the filters lasting longer, maybe it's not to big a deal either way, cause normaly it around 3,000 miles or 3 months, I go by my oil life info in the car though. But the STP filter says 10,000 miles so I'm not sure really.
Do you believe there is a better oil/oil filter to use.
The OEM branded Mahle filters are what Kia recommends - and they are providing up to 10 years warranty coverage (depending on market) for a fairly sophisticated and high output twin turbo engine. If it's what their engineers decided works/flows/filters best for this engine, that's a pretty ringing endorsement for me. I know that Mahle is the specified OEM filter on at least some of the BMW high tech engines as well.
I've never had a problem installing them, or with any kind of degradation when I pulled the old ones out. They may cost a couple more dollars per oil change, which is pretty inconsequential in the grand scheme of thi
3.3what engine you have?
Generally speaking, I think STP filters are near the bottom of the barrel for quality.
