Yes, I totally understand where your coming from.Still, don't want to risk power train warranty for now.

I agree so far i have full bol ons and there are fairly easy to remove...I already removed the intake, intercooler, BOV and JB4. Only thing left on the car is the SSR downpipes and SSR muffler deletes...which i will leave on...at most i might remove the muffler deletes but not sure yet
I know man but I am now taking the dp lo that’s too much I am probably just taking off the muffler deletes so it sounds like stockThe exhaust and intake could have probably stayed.... most ‘real’ dealerships wouldn’t even bother down that road. The DP’s would probably raise some eyebrows though.
Let me know what they say, I also bought my Stinger from that same dealership. I had a bit of a issue with them when they tried to sell me TPMS sensors for 600$ and I pretty much ended up telling the GM there to f*ck off lol. I dont think they will give me any leeway regarding mods after that incident.I believe all the Kia dealers up in Edmonton are Go Auto, and I recall on a service visit on their form seeing a "modified yes or no" on the form and I believe seeing "intakes" so I call that suspect. The blue Stinger in the showroom had at least catback and intakes at the least for engine mods and was likely for sale, so not sure where that lies. I should still be stock on my first service and I will ask the question at that time. "Intake only" I shall say? Lol. I do plan to be unmodded for the first visit since I want some concerns documented before warranty becomes suspect I guess.
And all the dealers I called locally said that when you bring your car in if they see mods they will notate it on the system and next time you come for warranty work they pull that info up and can use it against you to deny warranty work ...I have one of the MOST modified stingers and have had warranty work no problem
The whole "flagging" your VIN isnt even a real thing

Ford actually had TSB’s for techs to look for mods to flag. So although adding mods shouldn’t void warranty (magnison-moss laws), if a dealer wants to be an ass and make you fight in court, they can.And all the dealers I called locally said that when you bring your car in if they see mods they will notate it on the system and next time you come for warranty work they pull that info up and can use it against you to deny warranty work ...
I have read that act but the service advisor that does not mean anything lol the dealer has all the right to void warranty ... example when I asked him about the BOV and intercooler he said they would notate that on their system and if I came in because a turbo was bad they would tie that to the turbo failure and potentially deny the warranty work ... that’s how he explained it to me ...Making note of what mods you have and FLAGGING vin and voiding all warranty are two way different things
Read up on the magnuson moss warranty act
Warranty Laws and the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act
That’s exactly what the advisor said that the dealer can be a**holes and at the end of they day they are going to win or you will end up spending more money ....Ford actually had TSB’s for techs to look for mods to flag. It’s like HOA’s. People like to have power over others and can be dicks just because they can. Same with flight attendants sometimes... power trips to control people.
