Dealer Markup Cincinnati OH 2018 GT2 AWD $67K

So I have another dealer that sent me some good numbers on the lease angle:

For: 2018 KIA Stinger GT2 4dr All-wheel Drive Sedan

"Looking at $38,820 for the Stinger after lease cash ($8700) discount ($5k).

Puts the payment inc tax right around $549. We can't get the exact tax w/o submitting & running the deal through our system. But, that should be pretty accurate.

We can get exact, but need to see credit & submit to Kia.

Would you like to come by & get this all done for you?"

I told him I am only coming in to sign agreed to deal and pick it up..... I am not getting stuck in that trap.

They can run your credit without you being there and can determine the exact deal. You have all the leverage sitting at home, stick to your guns. I did exactly that when I leased my GT1 from a dealer 1.5 hours from my home. I even had a trade that they had to put a price on. When I got there, the car was sitting in the delivery bay and all I had to do was test drive and sign papers. Also, enjoyed the 1.5 hour drive home in a new Stinger.

Thanks for the backup. I am doing just that. Looks like a good deal. Plan to buy out before month 2. Mfg. Date - 1/2018 (I heard Nov-Dec 2017 was not as good but not sure if I can do any better really)

I would find out what the money factor is. Also, don't see any sales tax? They may hit you with the first month's payment plus sales tax when you pick up the car. Convert the money factor to percent to see what the cost of the money is. If you buy the car after a couple of months, this should not be a concern but just good to know.

Thanks for the lookout!!! I am requesting the money factor.

"Please see the attached quote made for $0 down. The tax will stay the same (about $42/mo) since that is based on 7% of lease vs residual portion.
Somewhat like retail purchases, lease payments are adjusted by $30/mo in monthly payment for every $1000 in down payment. Make sense?"

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
Dealer fee and Admin fee...criminals.

Money Factor is of no concern if you are going to buyout the lease. If NOT, then MF is a huge factor with regard to the RENT charge. Also see if you qualify for loyalty or conquest cash as that could drop another $3k off the deal.
