Thanks @StingerGTandMe - extremely well done! Appreciate you pioneering this mod, and documenting it with an informative, step-by-step video. The cup holder really improves the appearance.

I am tempted to do this for my Stinger 2.0 Premium, which also has an open cup holder but the module is all piano black plastic. The brushed aluminum looks better and seems like it will be more durable too. Only thing that gives me pause is wondering how the chrome console would look next to the black plastic slider that covers the USB and power ports.

You could easily wrap it because its out , easy job ! would look great in all gloss black !

Are the cup holders actually different sizes? I always suspected that we didn't get the covered version because this part would allow for bigger cup holders to accommodate the classic American big gulp cups or something.

Yes 1 is the same size and the other one is 1/2 inch smaller

You mentioned that the actual cup holder assembly is the only part that is different, and removable, couldn't you order just that and keep the rest? Thinking you'd save a bunch on shipping that piece..
