Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm , but how do you really feel !! sorry for the collision

Sorry for you, your car, and the prick who collided with it.

Not trying to needle you, but....A porcupine going 60mph? That's probably a world record.

All jokes aside It quill probably cost a grand to get a new painted bumper cover and miscellaneous trim pieces.

The poor prick died, rolling into a ball didn't help ( they do roll into balls don't they? or am I thinking of Hedgehogs and Echidna's ? ) :(
needless to say I do feel very sorry for TStaino and his Stinger :(

What about the poor 'pine ? I guess just put it down to a roaddent.

Does a porcupine quill sting? just askin.

The raccoon/possum I hit came to $2200+, which included a new intercooler, and nearly 2 weeks in the shop.

You make some good points. Not as many as the porcupine, but still...
I think you should stick with your Stinger, after all, the porcupine liked it, too!

Supposed to pick her up Thursday, just in time for a Friday road trip. Timing is making me a bit nervous. The front bumper/nose took a couple of extra days to get. :(

DEFINITELY MISSING! At least it happened with only 75 miles left instead of 75 miles into the 1900 mile round trip.

The same shop that did the yellow repaint is doing the repairs. The repaint looks better than original, so hopes are high.

Can we see some pics? I'm intrigued. I feel sorry for the porcupine. Poor guy just trying to cross the road :p

The trouble with racoon-related collision repairs is that you never know how the repair turned out until all the repainted areas are unmasked.

I don't think the raccoon's "mask" will come off, but I don't really care if the yellow on him matches the rest of the car. :)

It's hopeless. A porcupine is going to have to go faster than 167 to outrun a Stinger, and I think that is pretty much out of reach.

Ugh! Shop just called to say they discovered while replacing the intercooler that the plastic radiator support is cracked on both sides. Over-nighting part. Now hoping for "late" Thursday.

Not necessarily. I almost hit a marsupial in my slow 18" awd gt2. Fortunately, it was just playing possum.
