It weird for the. I have a
Sorento EX Base our SUV for kia, when the 2019 Came it came standard with navigation 2 months later it doesn’t. I wish they just had a complete layout of the features for 2.0L Base, Premium Base and Packages available, GT Base and is there a package available, and then for GT1 as well. I hope they don’t do what they did for the
sorento and change the packaging 2 months later it sucks when they do that.
It certainly makes your job more difficult!
Some customers do not take well to uncertainty when they want to order exactly what they want. Others, like me, go in to see what is available; and if enough appeals, they buy. Being realistic is a good stress reducer!
When my wife and I went to check out available Stingers, fully intending to buy one if everything went well in the process, I did not have a particular color in mind, or a trim or really anything specific beyond my three "must haves". I told the sales rep what they were, after opening the promo book to the pages showing the competition orange and saying, "I want that color". He started his conversation with me by saying, "You can't have it." I said why not and he said it isn't available. And I said sure it is, for enough money, I just want to know how much, to see if I will pay the extra to get the orange. And then the sales boss got into it and said, "Hey, if you want to repaint it orange, go right ahead; lease the car and we don't care if you have it repainted."
So then we moved onto the real stuff: V6, 15 speaker Harman Kardon surround, and sunroof. My wife inserted, "We want silver. It doesn't show winter dirt as much." And I insisted on the Silky Silver from that point on. So, four "must haves". They called around and found exactly what we asked for and traded for it and drove my Stinger from the other dealership c. thirty miles away. I drove it away that afternoon.
Of course, what I have just described (again) is the car sales person's dream: customer walks in, customer drives out, no hassles, no demands that can't be met. I was "easy", you might say: because I wanted a Stinger, and the important things were available.
MY19 will appeal to a lot of potential buyers. But you won't be able to pin down exactly what is going to be available. You'll just have to wait to see what you can talk me around to taking home. In my case, the four must haves were non negotiable. But other buyers are a lot more picky and predetermined about what they want as pertaining to a list of specifics.
