Burger Tuning JB4 for Kia Stinger!

We make it modular like that so when we come out with cool updates that require extra hardware, existing customers don't have to spend a ton of money to update.

I ordered the "Kia Stinger JB4 Beta - SKU: jb4-rev3-fuelwires
JB4 Options: JB4 w/optional bluetooth REV3 and fuel wires" is that a pretty good choice? I've already upgraded my plugs.

Terri any way you could work on changing the throttle response with the JB4? Similar to the race chip XLR or pedal commander.

I haven't used mine yet, have to change the plugs, but I want with the bluetooth and no fuel wires. Mines a lease and I would like improvement and mods but maybe not ultimate performance for the short time I have it.

Does the fuel line actually connect to the fuel? Modify the fuel in any way?

The optional fuel wires are used to remap the air/fuel ratio for better performance.

That would be awesome, the lag due to the delayed throttle response on the Stinger is quite bad.

Really? you sure its that bad? Mine's bone stock, and ive yet to see any lag of throttle response.....hmmmmmm whats your take on why your car is not performing very well? Wash

Sorry but I have to disagree, unless you’re talking about ECO/Comfort modes.

My Stingers Sport mode makes throttle response almost instantaneous. It basically eliminates turbo lag and throttle tip-in is borderline “jumpy” like a NA car. I don’t believe the response could get much quicker without becoming dangerous in city driving. If yours really feels delayed maybe you should have the dealer test it since “bad” throttle response doesn’t seem normal for our Stingers.

Hope this helps and good luck getting yours fixed.

@Terry@BMS any thoughts on how the JB4 would interact with the new pipes coming out the delete the secondary cats?

I'm running downpipes with secondary cat delete and it works amazing together. Big difference in top end pull and my logs are rock solid

No because the JB4 would need to attach to the gas pedal then. But, for those who want a more responsive gas pedal mapping we'll be carrying these $179 pedal tuners for the Stinger soon. :)

The pedal tuners will be an everyday low price of $179. Compared to what some places charge for them, it's quite a bargain.

Some interpret it as lag, some delay, it is there and you can see it in the JB4 logs. There is a built in delay between when you fully press the throttle pedal and when the electronic throttle body is actually fully open. It is done this way for many reasons, comfort, reliability, safety, less wheels spin etc etc.

To clarify you are running an aftermarket downpipe from the turbo and a secondary cat delete or

A pipe that attached to the primary cats that deletes the secondary cat?

I understand and agree with your explanations. I’m simply saying that Sport mode eliminates that by 95% in my Stinger. I’ve always been extremely impressed by the accuracy of the throttle input. I feel that any movement of the pedal gives an instant response and almost jumpy tip-in acceleration.

I guess autocross racing or something similar may benefit from even faster throttle response. I just can’t imagine having a daily driver with the throttle being more sensitive than Sport mode already does. But to each their own and maybe my Stinger is just extra sensitive.:rofl:Lol.

I have the pedal command and its night and day difference combine that with a tune and it's a beast!

I just gutted mine and will be bolting them back up after dinner.. I can’t wait!!

I'm running Jun bl secondary cat delete downpipes. I'm still looking for a vendor to step up and offer primary 2.5" HFC.

Thanks!

I don’t know if it’s 2.5” but a company is releasing a HFC Primary and deleted secondary. But they want $1500
