Burger Tuning JB4 for Kia Stinger!

Ughhh... just my luck

I know the coil are on back order. I got 2 in today and waiting for the other 4. The left and right bank have different coils.

Just re-gapped the stock plugs. I gapped them to .28. The car runs absolutely amazing! No break up anywhere. I followed Tork’s guide, very very helpful. I will be running map 2 tomorrow.
I'm guessing you have been running map1? If so how many miles, I put approximately 250mi or so on stock plugs(without re-gapping) before having issues, hopefully you have better luck. Still good to know your having some success so far though.

I ran map 1 on 93 octance without much fuss, I would get some breakups (blow out) on load once in a while. I put about 300 miles on map 1 before a re-gap. Everything is just so much smoother now with the plugs at .28. I personally disagree with colder aftermarket plugs, Because they will foul out quick and people will be replacing them every 10k. Stick with the stock plugs and just re-gap.

I've had JB4 for almost 800 miles now not a single misfire or stutter or shimmy or anything. I run 93 on map 1

However, BEFORE the chip I had about 2 seconds of misfire after cruising down the highway around 110-140mph for 30 minutes, when it stuttered the check engine light began flashing but I let off the throttle and it fixed itself and didn't have issues since. Monday I took my car in to see what the light was about several weeks ago and they are replacing the plugs and coils. I will most likely regap the plugs and try map 2

You ran it between 110 and 140 for 30 minutes?

Yeah, me and my partner were following a couple of cars and racing. (He has a 2018 Q50 Redsport).

Wow. I honestly thought that was some sort of typo.

Depends. The GT outperforms everything but the Q50 RS but even then it's pretty even.

For proper context, could you elaborate a little bit more? Outperforms in what measures? What vehicles fall into "everything"?

How does the stinger perform against the q50?
The Q50 used to be able to beat the stinger by a bumper up to 100mph (probably any speed) but it didn't really pull on me, but I put a stage 1 on the Q50 and jb4 map 1 on my stinger and now the stinger can get it by a bumper, but it probably wouldn't pull on the Q50. They're pretty equal.

As for handling, I would give the edge to the stinger, but it may just be the tires because I have the summer tires while he has all seasons, the stinger is definitely more comfortable in normal driving though.

You're talking about a Q50 RS right?
