Burger Tuning JB4 for Kia Stinger!

Just install my and already could tell there is a different. Have not done alot of log yet. Had it on map 2 did not fell any misfire or anything yet. We will see.

Did you try it on map 1 or straight to map 2?

I might be willing to ship mine to them for a few dyno runs with map 1 & 2. If someone who has a Race Chip would get on board we could get some interesting testing done.

I think you should be putting your car on the Dyno to compare results........How about it?

Coming from you, that is reassuring! Hope testing continues to go well for you. Please keep us posted!

I will keep everyone posted. So tempting to put it on map 3

I'm interested to see the diference on a track and dyno (sadly I have access to neither).

Just came back with a few pulls and it started to stutter after like 4 pulls.

That's what Terry said and he also said change all the setting on map 6 to 1.5 and log it again. I'm going to change the setting and log it again and send it to him. Going to gap the plugs this weekend

Any chance to post some pics in the DIY section for plug removal? Not sure what to do with the passenger side and that damn manifold over the plugs. Just want to know what NEEDS to come off.

It sounds a lot like my old Dodge Avenger where the intake manifold has to come off in order to change the passenger bank of plugs. If that is the case it isn't terrible, but to be honest I've not looked heavily into it yet.

I've moved the car up to 93 octane today, and i'll be testing maps one and two again this weekend as there is going to be some clear weather (finally!). If WOT boost still winds up being a problem i'll pull the drivers side banks and see what gap the car is running at. I wonder if there is a gap variance perhaps on one of the productions line from the factory, that is not showing up until we apply more boost? We'd need to have a few people that aren't having issues also pull their plugs and measure the gap they wound up with from factory.

This came in today :)

I've been sooo tempted on doing this versus the firewall management to route the usb into the cab permanently and still needing to have my tablet on me to do changes.

Well i did a few pulls conaexutively and had aome stuttering, no check in light, 91 octane, map 1, hasnt haooened since though, first and only time as of now. But damn does it pull smoothly when running good.

Alright everyone, so I just got back from doing a couple of pulls, or tried to at least, sport mode, 91 octane map 1, 3 pulls and jerked bad every time, no check engine light, but it was bad enough to were i felt i had to drive in comfort and slow the rest of the way back. Idk why its doing it all of a sudden, just my update to you all.

I had the same problem running the lap3 chip on my Gt2. Just changed my plugs today and sure enough.

Here in Washington state the highest octane west of the Cascade mountain range is 92...the eastern side has intermittent places to find 93. I think you can get race gas at a few places around here, but not at a regular pump.
Where in Washington are you. I’m in the Olympia area
