Can I daily drive on E30 on Map4? I don’t drive very hard and drive my car to work and back with a couple WOT pulls along the way. I just like having the power and I now that I’ve felt Map4 I don’t want to go back. Im not at WMI level yet.
Anyone move up to Map 5 on E30 (or E40)? Or is that really only for "race gas"? My Map 4 logs have looked healthy on 93 + 4 gallons E85, fuel pressure strong, so my assumption is if I start seeing timing pulls / octane limit, I still have fuel capacity to increase ethanol.
A lot of people shy away from Boostane but I used it in mine. I put a bottle per tank in mine, effectively raising my octane to 106. Ran very well but over time, it can deteriorate the spark plugs and turn them orange. If you plan to change plugs every 20k or so, this won't be a problem. And it only equates to about $6/gal, way more affordable.
Of course, this wasn't my daily driver so I could afford to put a bottle in per tank. Depends on your circumstance and how you drive the car.

I ran map 1 on 93 octance without much fuss, I would get some breakups (blow out) on load once in a while. I put about 300 miles on map 1 before a re-gap. Everything is just so much smoother now with the plugs at .28. I personally disagree with colder aftermarket plugs, Because they will foul out quick and people will be replacing them every 10k. Stick with the stock plugs and just re-gap.
Hi I just had engine check light come on after boosting it I'm on map 4 and it misfired little bit then engine light went out by self and no codes on the JB4...do you think it's probably plugs fouling then?
