Burger Tuning JB4 for Kia Stinger!

Added the EWG connectors and it's difficult to describe how much of a game changer they are. While the physical install was simple, I had to mess with the user settings and firmware to get everything right. I still don't believe everything is perfect on the app side, including the latest firmware, but I suppose that's why it's still in beta. I should also note that I'm using the latest beta of the app in android.

I would be curious to know as well how you fair with it ?
which map are you using ?

wondering who has put these on and how many hours of labor it took. Looks like an easy install but my shop just charged me 2.5 hours and they did it wrong.

To install the JB4 1 hour tops, friends of mine installed the JB4 in about 30 minutes. For just the EWG connection friend of mine did that part in less than 30 minutes.

It depends on your skill level but you don't need any fancy tools really to get it done.

Would you mind sharing what user settings and firmware you have? I am simply going off the recommendations from this thread. Still happy with the performance so for but if there can be more...

looks like EGW wouldnt work with map 1 and 2 @CoconutRob

"This add on patch allows your JB4 to directly control your electronic wastegate raising the boost ceiling for more heavily modified vehicles such as those using E85 or water/meth injection. Connector is not used on map1 or map2 even if installed"

EWG is active for all maps on Stinger. Looks like someone is quoting notes from one of the 40 other applications we make JB4 for. :)

so Iam so confused :( :( how would they be beneficial on map 1 or 2 as they limited in lower boost?
 
We increase WGDC to drive boost to target faster and raise overall boost with all targets. You can see it in action on yours logs looking at WGDC and ECU_PSI vs. DME_BT.

You should delete that quote above from the BMW M3/M4 S55 platform to avoid confusion here, BTW.

Thanks for the clarification. I haven't gotten around to reviewing logs yet and I haven't done much testing but it seems good so far aside from some unknown codes.

EWG wires are on our website, BETA software is within the app.
 
Sure are. I had a CEL but that went away moving to v16 firmware.

You probably didn't enter the WMI page setting that was required on EWG wires for v13-v15 firmware.

So..these should fix the overboost issue with HFC primaries, yes..? And enable them to be more fully utilized.
