Burger Tuning JB4 for Kia Stinger!

Hi Terry, was hoping you could take a look at these two very short logs. Just got the JB4 up and running, wanted to see if everything looked OK initially. SSR downpipes, JB4 with fuel wires and bluetooth, and Densos at .22

Looks normal to me!

Woo hoo! Thanks so much!

So I filled up full tank with 5 gallons of e85 and the rest 91oct gas I looked at the e85 gauge on the jb4 it said it was about 29 on map5. But after that tank was done I went back to map 2 only 91oct gas and the gauge went down a little but it still says there about 24 in it. Is that normal @Terry@BMS , should it read anything on 91gas only

Im running the same 5 gallons e85 and rest 91 on map 5. Per terry the e85 readings are not that accurate. So could be off on the readings.

E85 field is for testing purposes only currently, no reason for customers to take much notice of it.

Set 1st gear to 5psi, save settings, post a log of a launch here so we can further evaluate for you!
Are boost by gear settings also applied also to map 8 or is it exclusive to map 6?

Global for all maps.

Doesn't matter. I'd stay in D found it works just as well or better for doing runs.
What values am I putting in for the settings? I’m doing something wrong because it’s still holding boost over 5psi, I may be imputing the values incorrectly.

In the 0.0 section what should it look like to be only 5?

A value of 5psi reduces the boost target by 5psi in that gear/speed range.

Curious. Is the data you use to estimate fuel mixture based off information that can be logged for customers by jb4 or are you using readings not exposed to customers?

Some of the data is exposed some is internal.

You may be doing this but you could check out using some machine learning or statistical learning methods to improve your e85 estimates.

I think it would be easier to just install a real physical ethanol sensor.

I dont know anything about cars really so maybe your right, but the virtual gauge is less invasive and has more marketing power.

For the IAT wire, at what exact temp does it start to affect the car?

We're going to have those also. Even with a physical sensor you'd want a virtual sensor as a cross check though... :)

Has has no effect unless enabled in the software and the setting to enable it determines what it does exactly.

Sometimes with the WMI I notice the IAT below 20c, I am just worried if the very low temp might have a negative effect.

Question for anyone (or terry):

Better to run e30 blend with 93/e85 or straight 98? Didn’t know if I would catch a drop in pressure on map 7 with 98. Have access to both this weekend, will be running the BMS Meth Kit so wanting input on the best fuel to use for max effenciey
