again speed limiter is 167. There are plenty of videos already out there of people hitting it. But nice log!

Maybe. I'm just going by the data in the log, the ECU is reporting 158mph when it kicks in. What the speedo says in dash may vary.

I would expect those to also skew the ECU reading. Anyway whether the limiter is 158mph or 168mph it doens't matter much. I've never been over 155mph with it and don't plan to. lol

Is his IAT seriously only 51 degrees?!

It's probably pretty cold in SK right now. More so with 150mph wind swirling around.

You're right... high temps are in the mid / high 40s. Still, that's awesome with that much load on the engine! I'm sure WMI is helping quite a bit as well.

Any chance that the Korean market cars have different set speeds for the limiter?

Now that I think about it, the OBDII speed packet is one byte and in KMH. So it must just be maxing out at anything > 255 kmh (158mph). Makes more sense.

TIAL adapter next??? :)

Yes very soon on those!

I have to say, AMAZING job on the dynamic AFR control. Huge upgrade from the last version. Props.

The intakes look pretty basic in comparison to what else is on the market. Pricing seems fairly good?

The sound video on your website also features a BOV that I don't see for sale under the Stinger mods. Really hard to tell how much it actually changes sound without a before/after and with a random very loud part thrown in there. Small gripe, but I think it's important to include exact comparisons when demoing a part. Not the first intake video I've seen with a BOV thrown in. At least you guys clearly state it.

@Terry@BMS When will you release the discount for purchasing the JB4, Fuel Wires, Wireless Connect, and Intake altogether?

We run an every day low pricing model so there won't be an extra combo discount. But there is a minor price change coming down the pipeline, probably in around 2-3 months. The next batch of Stinger JB4 harnesses will include the fuel wires already installed. We're also going to change from our plastic enclosure to our aluminum enclosure. With that change the JB4 price will change to $479.

Ooh, I may need to wait then. Thats awesome to hear you will be coming out with the new enclosure. You should develop a batch that has the Wireless Mobile Connect Kit incorporated into the whole unit; then it will literally be an all-in-one, packaged in a nice aluminum enclosure (starting to sound a lot like another piggyback on the market). Keep up the good work, and congrats on the new record.

We've always had the enclosure but we normally only use it for the higher price tuners. Since we originally viewed the Stinger as more of a "budget" market we wanted to keep the price lower with the plastic one. But given the solid JB4 results and how expensive all of our competitors are, coming up a few dollars for a nicer looking product, I think makes sense now.

This is the JB4 aluminum enclosure. You can add one now if you want. :)

Or should I wait for the development of the Wireless Connect Kit integration?

The JB4 connect kit is always going to be an add on due to the significantly higher cost, sorry.

It's almost required now to have a data cable or blue tooth adapter but some day I hope to get in dash controls working so you can change maps in dash, view boost, timing, and AFR levels in dash, etc. We offer this for many of our other products. But it's tricky work. :) Anyway when that day comes the adapters would be for updates or logging and much more optional.

This thread is specific to the JB4. Please keep it this way.

There is a thread about the intakes. If you’d like to discuss it there please do.
