Burger Tuning JB4 - 2.0T!

I’m wondering the same thing? @Terry@BMS
Push it out towards the firewall. its held in the little clip via friction. Then once out of the bracket you can unclip it. This is a pain in the ass in the tight space behind the engine. Then clip in adapter and put adapter in bracket.

I have a 2020 Stinger GTLINE 2.0 and I need guidance on how to install the jb4. Can you help a brother out, there isn't much content for the GTline and I want to do this right. Your help is appreciated.

The hardest part was figuring out where the connections are on the 2.0L. Check out post #27 in this thread for pictures on the locations.

Quick version is:
  1. Remove the engine cover so you can more easily get to the first connector point.
  2. Put the main JB4 unit on top of your fuse box. Use double-sided tape to hold it in place.
  3. Run the thicker wires across the back of the engine. Once everything is in place, I recommend using zip ties to keep the cables out of the way.
  4. The shorter wire will connect near the right side of the engine. Run the longer end to the second location.
  5. Unclip the OEM connectors and clip in the JB4 connector at each spot.
  6. See post #126 on running the ODBII wire through the firewall (it's a pain for the '20-'21 GT-Line models with the manual parking brake)
Good luck!

My completely stock g70 manual 2.0t map 0 and map 1 dyno runs on 91 octane if someone is looking for a 2.0t dyno result
did you try the map 2 i want to install the jb4 on my car but im wondering the diffrences

I dont have 93 octane available
That sucks not having 93 available. The 2.0 is a beast in Map 3 and even more so in Map 5 with Boostane. Should be getting a Dyno for Map 5 soon. Will post results. Looking to shoot past the 337 bhp (263 whp and 287 wtq) obtained on Map 3.

So your dyno # on map 3 was 263? Am i reading that correctly? Are tou running both jb and the racechip?

Hey man could you send a picture of the way you ran your cable through the door jamb? I’m thinking it’s easier running this way so it’s way to take off when going in for service
Keen for some pictures of this as well as I'd like to do the same

Yes... 263 whp on Map 3. The 232 was Map 1 but the engine coughed (blue lines). Map 2 (not recorded on paper) was 240 whp. I didn't have the fuel wire connected for any of the runs. With a 23 whp jump between Map 2 and 3....i can't wait to see what Map 5 does on the Dyno. Hope to cross 300 torque to the wheels! 20210116_151057.jpgI am running the JB4 piggyback together with the Racechip XLR Throttle Controller. Last Dyno attached. Keep in mind that those numbers are peak.

Hey cant complain. I wasn't even thinking race chip throttle controller. All makws sense know. Im a little slow at times

Actually i asked because I hit the dyno this past weekend with mine. And wanted to be sure i was at least in the same ballpark. Which i am. Appreciate it

Im sure the normal heat soak didn't help I n the 2nd 3rd pulls. I know it got me

Good deal. I use Map 3 for my daily drives and toss in some Boostane on a tank full every now and then to run Map 5. I can seriously feel the difference between the two.

Hi everyone - I am having a lot of trouble with my JB4. There is an insane about of hesitation (2-3K) before the car runs smooth. Currently I am running HKS plugs, KN Intake and 93 AKI. I have attached my logs any input would be helpful! Please note - I ended up replacing the master chip in my JB4 as it caused a fault code but prior to that everything was running perfectly smooth.

Hi guys, I had my JB4 installed with the fuel wires and HKS plugs. I also got myself the AEM CAI and GFB TMS Respons BOV installed.

Honestly the experience with the JB4 is truly remarkable in terms of unleashing the engine's potential. Definitely gave it more urgency.

However, have any of you encountered this issue whereby you are cruising around 50mph/80kph in comfort mode and you hit the accelerator to overtake someone and suddenly the engine power cuts off but it goes back to normal in a second. The engine like stalls for second and there's no CEL thrown. Is this potentially a plug issue? I m using the HKS M45XL gapped as recommended by Burger Tuning.

Anyone has this similar issue?

Hey I just got the jb4 for my 22 g70 2.0t is map 1 2 and a half psi and map 2 is 4 psi that's what my software said after I downloaded it. Also it's another software download for kia genesis. I think it's 19 and 20.
