Burger Tuning JB4 - 2.0T!

Yes just map1 for me. But I’ve heard from another 2.0 owner who drove on map3 on a daily basis.

Best idea is to post some logs for Terry to look at, and then ask him if he thinks it’s okay for you to move up to a higher map. He is the expert on knowing what to look for and is very helpful and responsive.
I dont have the wireless app component yet. (Balln on a budget) but that is my next order so I can test other maps. For now I just had my tech guy gap the plugs and set it to map 1.
He told me the car will respond better and better to the tuning as I drive it. Is that true?
Sorry for all the questions, I am a beginner at all of this. Your input is greatly appreciated.

Take your time.. the hole in your pocket will only grow larger.

Yes, your guy is correct. It “learns” as it gets accustomed to your specific car. But it has a limit of course. It’s not like a fine wine, and gets better with age :geek:

And I’ve been told it only “learns” when you are at WOT... have fun ;)

Can someone locate the o2 primary sensor on the 2.0 please for the fuel wire add on for jb4

It should already be attached to the JB4 on the other end.

If you taking about the 2nd fuel wire, you don't use that one on the 2.0.
Yeah realized that as soon as I sent tha . Lol thx for the quick respons . Installing mine now!

Do you have pictures of your install on the 2.0 Stinger? About to install on my 2.0 but want to make sure I am connecting properly.

Hi Terry. I just purchased the jb4 for the stinger 2.0 and it went out for delivery earlier today. I got the hks m45xl’s and will gap them to .022. Most likely the only fuel it’ll be using is 91. Will those spark plugs be fine with that gap? These are the only mods I will do to the car for maybe a year or so. What maps can I use? Thank you for any help and suggestions.

You’re good to go with those plugs at that gap. HKS are the best and .022 is recommended by Terry.

If you are only running 91 octane, probably want to stick with map1. Once you get the JB4 installed, email Terry some logs on map1 and he will let you know if everything looks good and you can try map2 with 91 octane. Map2 is recommended for 93 octane though.

How’s the JB4 working?

I forgot to mention it's a 2020 stinger gtline (2.0) is the jb4 the way to go or has something better came out since? (Very new to this forum and stinger community) thanks

Hey, fellow 2.0T owner here......the JB4 is by FAR the best option. not only does the product do as intended but if you get in a bind, Terry and crew at BMS have top notch suppport......i have had mine about 4-5 months and it is a blast on the 2.0T. i run MAP2 daily and have learned a couple of things on the way. 1). GET the plugs...don't fool around with the stock. 2). GAP to .022 HKS(M45XL). i guess the Denso's do well but i have ONLY run the HKS. they are pricey but worth it. 3). if you can't ensure above 91 octane, get some cotane boost additive(smooths things out). Boostane seems to be the one of choice but try a couple others if you are not trying to go crazy with the mods. i just have jb4, k&N panel filter, HKS plugs MAINLY because i plan on upgrading to the GT next year so i don't want to change a bunch of mods to trade the vehicle. i have nothing but fun with the 2.0T since adding the JB4!!! doesn't hurt that a couple Camaro's/Mustangs get the shock of their life!!!!!! LOL!!!

Thanks for the reply and all the info! One question, If I were to install the JB4 and the car goes back for servicing will this void my warranty? That's the only thing im worried about.

If I were to install the jb4 could it be uninstalled before servicing? Would anything show up on their end that could void my warranty?
