• PLEASE! It is VERY important that this area is not used for the discussion of technical issues with your Stinger. This section is for posting about regional-specific things like Stinger clubs, events, local vendor or dealer recommendations, KiaStinger.com member sightings, etcetera... In other words, I do NOT want people to need to scour through several different sections to find answers about their heads up display. That's why there's a section dedicated specifically to discussions like that. THANK YOU!

Australia-Specific Kia Stinger Discussion

please explain?
There are a couple of options..
Download 7-eleven fuel app or petrol spy app and it shows you cheapest fuel type of your selection near you. Crazy thing is there is upto 30c difference between servos right near each other ...

I just go to the same local Shell petrol station and pump in Shell V-Power when unleaded prices are the cheapest , but I also use 98 Shell V-Power in my VZ Commodore, Shell V-Power was $1.39 a litre last Tuesday , in my local station in Melbourne.

What's the difference in that and other premium 98?
I assume all 98 Premium petrol are similar, I just personally prefer to use Shell V-Power, I once filled up on BP petrol, just to use a petrol voucher, worst decision in the life of my Commodore, the engine started to hesitate, like a coughing , thought it was a major engine failure, but it must have been moisture in the fuel, never been back to BP after that, I used to use Mobil premium many years ago as well, no problem

Funny i was told V power wasnt as good. I have used BP since i bought the car and no issues yet. Must be a local issue.

You can get that issue with any batch of fuel, the should cover if their batch of fuel is bad though.
I'll just try and put 98 in the car whenever I need to fill up and I'll get into a habit of waiting till the cheap parts of the week to do it.

Thankful I get fuel pre GST and tax so save myself roughly 40% through the lease.

I believe it was just an issue to that station, I would fill up with BP, but only if it was an emergency type fill, and i had no choice.

I have the NRMA App, Woolworths rewards (Caltex) and the 7/11 App. I only ever buy fuel at the bottom of the cycle and I juggle 3 cars to do it.
Yep im a cheap skate. lol

I remember in another thread one of the members from the Middle East ‘complaining’ that petrol had recently gone up from 7c/L to 38c/L!

I went to high school with a Richard Head , it didn't twig at the time or we were nieve.
And it wasn't a typical insult in England in the 70s.

By the time the 80's hit , it was a full ball insult, these days it's very tame, probs not much of an insult at all compared to what is thrown around now. A friend of mine in the Australian Army had a drill sergeant, his surname was Head.
