I have to admit that I was one of those "but it's still a kia" people at first. However, once I visited the car in person, I realized it was a very special vehicle and couldn't stop thinking about it. 2 weeks later, went for a test drive and bought the same day.

That's very close to my experience. I read (and reread) the Stinger promotional book all winter; went on a test drive in late March with "but, it's a Kia", up front and center in my mind, and just getting in and closing the door instantly began to disassemble that ingrained attitude. Three days later I bought mine. This car, still, over 4.5 years later, is the main reason I smile. Kind of sad, when you look at it that way, but whatever puts a smile on your face is a Good Thing.

Just a few days shy of one month now! I bought it in Sept in Kennesaw. '23 gt2. I was actually not in the market at all until my previous vehicle kicked the bucket early Sept and I started seriously shopping. Don't hate me, but I have to admit that I was one of those "but it's still a kia" people at first. Now I'm totally in love with it, and it's quickly taking over my life already. Thanks for having me here in the forum. I actually read a lot of threads on this forum for research before making the purchase, and everyone's contributions were very helpful to me.

It mentioned that i can't post links on here because im a new member but I wanted to mention there's a Stinger group on Facebook if you would like to join other stinger owners on there too. They give updates on events and group meetings etc. The next event is actually in Kennesaw Nov 6th.

Well, there's at least three of us, wondering if there are more not yet made it out of the woodwork?

Thinking about setting up a meeting. Also, as a motorcyclist, I bought my Stinger to to enjoy on the wonderful roads we have in North GA, TN, NC as well. I'd be happy to lead a group drive, possibly even an away event (I attend rallies with other riders a few times a year, lots of fun to be had!)

Thoughts?
