Ark GT-F Springs Review!

I've had these installed on my AWD GT now for about a month. Love them. They ride almost like stock. But you can tell they are alittle firmer when you hit bumps.

The way it looks is just perfect. Mine is a DD and we have snow here so I didn't want to go too low. I have about half a tank in the car. Back height is 26 1/2 and front 26 1/4 with about 6 inches of clearance for the front bumper.

Overall, highly recommend! Should have came from the factory like this.

Sorry I'm a new member and I couldn't edit my post.

I did get an alignment from Firestone. The fronts were good but the backs had 2 degrees of camber.

You will also need to adjust your headlights. Mine are pointed down a bit from stock. Still not terrible and can still drive at night. Waiting on my intakes from Tork to adjust them.

No, nothing will "void" your warranty. I had the dealership install my springs even.

Before we get people excited, to be clear: nothing "voids" the ENTIRE warranty on your vehicle. However, parts installed that directly affect or impact factory parts are summarily voided from being warrantied unless the dealership is your best bud. That's rare, but if you're lucky enough to not have a bunch of jackasses... ... :p

I’m currently 27.75” front & 27.5” Rear. (With about 1 gallon in the tank]
Khartunerez website states the following:
  • Drop Height: 1.15” Front/1.0” Rear (AWD)

Ok, so I had them installed today. I am currently 26.75" front and rear. (With a couple of gallons), so that's a 1" drop on front and 0.75" drop on the rear from my original measurements. 20" Rims / AWD.

On my drive home from work, which is pretty much stuck in traffic then highway driving, I noticed very little difference from stock with regards to comfort. I'll get a chance to test them more in the coming days and follow up. Overall the drop was exactly what I was going for, not too extreme but enough to close those gaps.

About 26 1/8 front and rear

Considering your measurements, i'm wondering if mine will drop anymore in the coming days with more driving? I'm going to wait a week or so before I get my alignment.

Now what everyone's waiting for, the before and after :D Apologies, quality could have been better as well as outside with more light. 01Frontandrearbeforelower.webp 02Frontandrearafterlower.webp 03Frontbeforelower.webp 04Frontafterlower2.webp 05Rearbeforelower.webp 06Rearafterlower2.webp

Ordered a set last night from Khartunerz.

I'm not into slammed cars, but this seems pretty subtle and fills the wheel wells better.

Hopefully the ride quality won't be too harsh.

There is very little difference with regards to Comfort from Stock. I doubt anyone other than you will notice any difference.

Does anyone have pictures of a Stinger (AWD) with the Ark spring on the stock 19 inch wheels?

Looking at those pics, the Eibach rear is definitely progressive. The front *may* be - the coils at the end look tighter than the ones in the middle, and the Eibachs appear to have an extra coil over the ARKs.

The ARKs don't appear to be progressive at all.

Are these pics of left or right springs, or a combination of sides? As they are, they look like they'll "settle" in different positions in the car (based on where the spring coils end).

Arks have specific spring rates while the Eibachs are ‘progressive’ with no mention or specs on spring rates. Pics were taken comparing rears and fronts, not left or right specific, doubt they are and so far so good with installation.

No on the headlights, haven't even driven at night recently at all (sounds lame, but believe me I've had to drive so much, I would like to just get home and let the car "sleep", lol... I just drove 400 miles in 2 days for work). Once I do, I can get a feel for where I need to adjust it to. It always seemed a bit low from the factory to be honest...

And yes, I got my alignment. I actually had already aligned it a little myself, but without alignment plates, I had to do it lifting/dropping the vehicle a few times. The rear had a shockingly -3.5 degree camber, but I actually got both rears to -2.5 degrees camber EXACTLY (verified when the guy put it on the rack), and I did it with a bubble camber magnet... I was quite proud of being that precise with a bubble  But the rears are back at -1.2 because I still need that straight line traction with all this power on a measly 255 tire... :sneaky:

Strangely, though, I think the tires wore funny. I watched the guy do the alignment (they LOVE that, it's a good thing he's been doing my alignment for almost 7 years), and he was spot on with my custom specs and steering alignment, and yet I have to turn about 1-2 degrees left in order to stay straight. The funny part is, BEFORE the alignment, I ALSO had to steer about 1-2 degrees left to stay straight coming right off the spring install and doing a test drive. That's why I think I've got some tire pull going on. The tires did have nearly 10k miles on them.

Would you mind posting your alignment sheet? I’m going to be doing the drop with my neighbor on Friday night so will hopefully getting the alignment done on Saturday some time.

Should give the springs some time to settle in before doing the alignment, a couple of weeks should be good.

Comparing the Arks to Eibachs, initial impressions are that the Arks are really comfy and linear, no crashing over humps like the Eibachs do. Haven’t done high speeds, corners or dips/crests yet so more to come. Oh and they weigh a lot less than Eibachs!

Weighing less than the Eibachs is interesting - there are fewer coils, which would explain some of the weight difference - but I wonder if they're also made of a different grade/density of steel...
