Anyone using tork or pressertech tunes?

Any knock reduction numbers on the run? And anyone know if any of the tuners are de-sensitizing the knock sensors?

I know in my ecoboost a few companies were playing the sensitivity on sensors... not sure “we” have that ability.
Doesn't look like any timing is pulled due to knock. The timing dips are on the shift points.

Jesus Christ I never saw that... "Stock turbo record" ...until the turbos explode 2k miles later.

Yeah, that’s definitely at the upper end if not a little over these turbos’ efficiency. I can’t wait until someone goes one size up with a wheel upgrade. I’d be happy with a batmo wheel upgrade for the stock one if it performs well. I’d love to add more spool and sound.

Oh My ***!!

The SSR Downpipes are now installed and that is all I have to say...

PRESSERTech ECU Tune plus SSR Downpipes eliminates the need for cervical chiropractic adjustments. (As long as one keeps his head firmly planted on headrest)

:D

will you be getting dyno now.....

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
The plan is to run it hard for a Couple weeks, trying my hardest to trigger limp mode. At the end of that, I'll pull my ECU, send it to Todd for program tweaking using the newest data, and then do the Dyno again.
Dude keep the forum updated man .......do that asap.....use your vacation time at work but get it done asap...it will be well worth it...

How is the increase in exhaust sound with the downpipes?

Sorry, how about in-cabin noise? Much of an increase?

That's what I was referring too.

My wife and I took it out yesterday to pick my dad up from the airport. Cindy hadn't been in the stinger in over a week. If she noticed, she didn't say a thing, but she would've of it was obnoxious.

My Dad didn't know anything about the stinger. As we were getting going he asks "So why did you choose this car, because it sounds great?" I laughed and told him that while it is much quieter than my SRT Charger was, I do love the low growl. To which Cindy replied "it does sound deeper than I remember, but it sounds good. I just told her, Hmmm, I guess the dealer did some kinda sound system update while it was in for the rotor and pad replacement.

Shortly thereafter we were waiting at a light next to a souped up ricer. He wanted to go, and I thought, crap, I got luggage and two extra bodies... But what the hell. So we went for it and I killed him.

The ricer sounded like poo. We all know that loud zipper, crackling, popping noise they make. Cindy commented on how mine sounded so much better!

That's the best I can describe it.

Good morning to all!
I am enjoying this thread!! I have a question, maybe I missed it?? I have the Torque Pro app I used to data log my SX OPTIMA with the OBD2 Bluetooth reader... my question is, will this setup data log correctly in the Stinger GT-2? I am re- buying a Blue Tooth reader, because I don't have the old one. Also, is anyone data logging the Stinger, and seeing any knock events on the the Torque APP?

Beautiful! Thank you! Exactly what I wanted to hear! My wife, also, wouldn't put up with any obnoxious in-cabin noise.
I was in touch with Todd Presser 12 days ago. They are supposed to be doing some development work with cars with downpipes, I believe last week and this week. I'm VERY anxious to see what he can do with this! Along with the secondary downpipes, I was also contemplating a set of primary downpipes with high flow cats. We will see.

You already got your rotors and pads replaced? by warranty? how many miles...

Why? did warranty cover? rotors should not go out that early??

I had significant vibration due to hit spotting. Turning the rotors couldn't go deep enough.

They didn't want to do the pads, but I protested the safety aspect, so they caved

Check our the warped rotors thread. Seems this is becoming a common issue.
