I had the ck71 DRL's but after less than a year they started to go out. I contacted about having them warrantied and he is just stringing me along and not answering any emails. Anybody else having the same issues. And has anybody found a similar light?

I've had mine for about a year and a half. Did he actually contact you cuz I'd heard that his wife has cancer so he was putting a pause on making them. I emailed him but did not get a response back at all.

One side of mine looks like like this, the other side is fine. Clearly they need a better housing as mine appear to have gotten wet inside.

He has responded multiple times claiming that they were going to be shipped, but he has never come through. At this point both sides of mine are almost completely out. I like the lights a lot but I may end up replacing with factory vents.

Oh, okay..........at least he's contacted you. I haven't heard anything. I feel your pain as $400+ is a lot to spend on something that will potentially only last a year or two. I've never really had an issue like that before. I shoulda got the Eibach sway bars instead. Adding insult to injury, I paid a shop to install them as I'm not very good at wiring, so they cost even more.

Yeah, it is disappointing. I just cant help but feel like he is stringing me along with the periodic replies. Though it has been a couple of months now since any reply. This has been dragged out since last July...

Wow, that long huh? I sent him the first email a month or two ago with no response, then sent a second one this week with no reply yet. I'm not holding my breath at this point if you say it's been since last July for you.

Love the look of driving with lights out, fantastic :(

the ebay versions from China I've had for 4 years now and to me look more OEM.

China or Korea? The Chinese ones are the 4 segment ones, the Korean ones are a thinner single opaque strip. Might get the Korean set, didn't see them last time I looked.

That installed photo doesn't look like the product picture...

Was thinking the same. The pic on the car is basically the CK71 LEDs. The other pic of the vents looks like a totally different light.
