Anybody know of an alternative to the ck71 Daytime Running Lights?

not a fan of these ... you have horizontal DRL's in the headlights and you're adding vertical DRL's right under them. it looks awkward and weird, especially considering they are for looks only and don't serve any purpose.

i'd be down for some actual functional foglights or driving lights that better fit the styling, though ...
After owning them, I'd say they aren't just for looks. I drive at night a lot. Many times on roads with no street lights. The reason I wanted them is to have additional lighting on the lower front part of the car. Many small animals like to dart out into the road at night, mostly rabbits. I ain't trying to hit anything like that. With these, while they aren't fog lights, they do provide the additional lighting I was looking for.......... until they stopped working. I would prefer a dedicated fog light but went with these since nobody has made anything.

Nobody has pics of the eBay ones or another companies lights installed with the lights on?

not hard if you can swap a bumper and do some wiring

I've had the front clip off multiple times for things like BMS FMIC install. Are the plugs they show in any way related to the Stinger's pinout? Or is it tap-it / wire splicing stuff?

I also have the ck71s and am on my second set....the first ones started leaking the first time it rained and chris replaced them for free. The second set one started leaking after 3 months and is now completely dead.

Yes, it's a shame but from what I originally understood was that it was a material issue with the lights used in making the DRLs, and was being sorted out. Now I'm not real sure. Update us if you go with the ebay ones. Also are the ebay lights switchback as well, I always thought that was a nice finishing touch.

So, looks like it is safe to say these ck71 are pos. Will try Ebay ones.
What sucks is that the eBay ones are a fraction of the cost. So people that paid $400 basically got screwed. Luckily most of the money for mine were in the form of K8 store gift cards but that's still money wasted for a part that is not working. I'm honestly surprised the passenger side is still working fine, was hoping that side would just quit so at least it doesn't look like I have a light out on the front.

Hey, we could trade lol. my passenger is dead and my drivers is running fine for 1yr now. I have my original dead set still and am debating buying the ebay ones or to try tearing it apart and replacing the switchback led strip.

I agree. That sucks. Especially when you see the price difference between these ones and Ebay set.
