Yeah this is crap. I bought some, was sitting on them for quite a while b/c I couldn't get around to installing them until way later. But only a few weeks after install, and driving in ONE rain storm, one side is dead. NO WAY for the cost these cant last through one rain event. Due to waiting so long to install, no warranty still in effect. I totally regret buying these. (There are other ones out there for less money to try and roll the dice on)Oh, okay..........at least he's contacted you. I haven't heard anything. I feel your pain as $400+ is a lot to spend on something that will potentially only last a year or two. I've never really had an issue like that before. I shoulda got the Eibach sway bars instead. Adding insult to injury, I paid a shop to install them as I'm not very good at wiring, so they cost even more.
I really hope the wife having cancer story is not made up just to disappear and get out of providing support for an apparently commonly defective product. I really hope not. But I've seen worse from companies / people trying to get out of accountability that costs them $$$$$ (If the cancer situation is true, I wish them the best)
