Does the G70 use the same plugs with the same gapping?

Good question but since they are the same engine I believe all parts are the same too. It wouldn’t be cost effective to use different plugs as Hyundai would buy everything in bulk, for both Kia and Hyundai vehicles.

LAP3 Pro-Tuner is our new piggyback tuning solution, thus it is not detectable.

We also have ECU Tune & TCU Tune to pair with, but we will not be releasing them until we get OBD encryption. We are working on that part as we speak.

What kind of time line are you looking at for OBD encryption?

That will be an absolute game changer!!! Can't wait for that!!!

We should get a discount for the wait in the first group.

From interior to exterior to high performance - everything you need for your Stinger awaits you...
- Top Speed Governor Removal: Many Stinger owners have been asking us about it, and the LAP3 Pro-Tuner will allow you to unlock the speed limiter.
@LAP3 Tuning , as the ECU reads values like this directly from local, non-volatile memory, I can see how an ECU tune can modify this - it simply overwrites the factory values with the new 'tuning' settings.

I don't understand how you can add on a piggyback box like this, which retains the stock ECU tune, and yet override factory NVM parameters like the above. Can you explain how that process works?

The Pro-Tuner will retail for $1000~$1200 depends on the platform. That’s what he posted up in FB.

Below are the results they posted on that Facebook group. I'm not sure if the car had any bolt-ons or what the ambient temperature was or anything like that.

Kia Stinger GT 3.3T-GDI
LAP3 Pro-Tuner R&D result
433ps/64.75kgm (427whp/468ft lbs)
We will be working on 440-450whp mapping in the near future :)

I dont understand why they have these results but did not share them on this forum, either way im gladsomeone posted on their behalf

I also asked for baseline stock numbers pre-tune and was directed to a previous post with a G70 3.3 stock dyno. I know it's the same exact engine but wonder if both cars would dyno the same.

Some bad news for those who are waiting and have an iPhone..

The app that they developed to control the system is not iOS supported and there are 0 plans to do so..

So this is unfortunately off the table for me..

The reason why we didn't have the baseline for this particular one was due to the fact that the vehicle was already chipped, making about 380-390whp. We were able to pick up another 30-40whp on top of what it was already making with a boost chip. We are currently going through R&D process for many different platforms, mapping and making fine adjustments. We will also work on the 440-450whp map for the Stinger in the near future.

will you still have to get spark plugs and gap them for this tune, and if you have intake will the tune account for it ??

You will need HKS M45iL plugs. We haven't had any issues with M45iL's standard gap, which is ~0.028.

Seriously?!? No offense but I hope you’re wrong.

Why would they lose out on the majority of smartphone users? 8/10 people in SFL have iPhones not the others...That’s really disappointing as this was one of my top choices too.

Our original plan was to develop an app for iOS as well; however, we encountered lots of limitation through iOS platform during the development when it come to OBDII connection and function. Thus we understand why the Torque Pro app was never available for iOS either. We highly recommend getting a second device, so you can have a dedicated device to use our app to see monitor data and etc. It will be much easier than using your own phone every time.

Had to Google that. iPhone users make up appx 40% of the smart phone world.

Still a sizeable chunk of business to lose out on.
