A little back and forth also livens the forum up, but there are limits. We're not going to jump in to every one of their threads and post JB4 dynos and marketing, nor would the forum moderators allow that.
Worth noting BMS has been around since 2007 and we've never tried to be all things to all people. We do things a certain way. Myself and our 10 employees are active on forums and social media sites. We try to help customers and enthusiasts whenever possible. And we enjoy a good vendor flame war every now and again as long as it's all in good fun.
We've tuned tens of thousands of cars over the years around the world, most of them with much higher price tags than the Stinger, so I think we have a winning business model. That said someone has to keep all these other jokers in business so no hard feelings if someone wants to go another route.![]()
Love the Candor and there's nothing wrong with standing up for your product, as long as things stay factual and doesn't stray too far into the realm of unproductive personal attacks....
Since you brought your experience and it's been asked around, can you comment on some simple pros and cons of the jb4 vs ecu tunning? So far I undrestand the price, easy of install and avoiding modification of factory ecu. However, what are the drawbacks of a piggyback like the jb4 vs altering maps directly on the ecu itself?
