I’m trying to access the rear of my grille so I can attach my “T” Turbo Grille Emblem. The installation video uses an Optima as the subject car, as opposed to a Stinger. Has anyone accessed the rear of the grille? I could sure use some pointers, with pics, as I really want to attach my first bling, and I really, really don’t want to break anything. Thanks, J

I looked at this same badge, did not buy it for this reason, there is no direct access unless you start removing covers, & take it from me to remove the top fan/radiator cover under the bonnet means you have to remove the complete front apron on the car. I have a mark in mine from new (fluid stain) Kia has no problem replacing it under warranty but they have to remove the complete front assembly to replace it, this was not an option for me at this point in time. Underneath access you will have to remove the cover plates there, so no direct access either. If someone can offer a simple solution I would also like to hear from them.

I bet I can do it. Bought the GT version of the badge, when I get the car I will install and let u know.

Have you looked at access from underneath by taking skid pan off?

Look forward to your fitment & advice sometime in June or is it July......thumb twirler....lol. Underneath to get the “skid pan” off would require it to be on a hoist for me, I’m too old & broken to be crawling underneath cars with low ground clearance just for a grill badge. I will welcome any easy solutions though.

I've taken off the bumper and have enough pics to put together a DIY for it. Just haven't had a chance to do the write-up yet.

Jeez I’m 55 and I can do it. Only as old as the woman you feel lol!
