I don't want to assume too much, but on xcargot's website the only turbo listed as ball bearing is the XT30R. The rest are listed as full floating bearings. That manifold design is exactly what I had in my head. Are these XT26 turbos Ball bearing CHRAs?
It's a customer's Stinger.is this a shop car or customer's car? Please keep us updated on how it handles the power and specifically if anything fails.
We have the right guys developing a turbo kit for the stinger lol .... love it keep us updatedIt's a customer's Stinger.
However a few in the company have heavily modded KDMs with good power.

@LAP3 Tuning Why the choice of the Xcargot turbo instead of a GTX Gen2? or their new G-series turbo? Just curious.
Here's the link for that information: http://xcargot.com/products/xt26/Do you have compressor maps for the Xcargot turbos to compare?
Who needs traction? So they made 620hp then backed it down to 590 for the final tune?
I’d love to see what they have done for traction.
Ya I though there were traction issues already lol.Who needs traction?![]()

@LAP3 Tuning do you guys offer ecu tunes for the stock turbos outside of SK? not sure if it's even possible being so far, but figured I'd ask
edit: I see the method you would use - spare ecu...which I like, but will you have a tune for the stock turbos?
That's been the only hold up. Otherwise, we would have been offering ECU tuning & Turbo upgrade kits on the same year the car came out; just like we have already done so for the other KDM platforms including Elantra Sport, Veloster Turbo, and etc. We have been working on the OBD Encryption solution for over a year now for the Stinger. Our goal was to wrap it up by end of this year, but it's taking a bit longer than we expected. We proceeded to get the turbo upgrade done any way. Once it is finished, we will offer our ECU tune on a spare ECU, with the BDM port sealed and baked with epoxy, so no one can open up the ECU and read our data. The OBD encryption will be applied on the ECU, disabling the OBD-II read function to protect our ECU tuning data.
