2022 (US) sequential tail lights retrofit?

Could we get the part number for the Center bar too?
I sure do not have the info that was probably on the box any longer. You could probably email Tuscani customs, I am sure they could give it to you.

It looks like KIA uses LED's for the US 2022, but they are not sequential, and they also have the frosted blinker

I just swapped my 2022 stocked ones with the KMD ones, and there are no incandescent bulbs, both sockets are just 3 pin connectors.

Not all LED's. The turn signals in the US 2022 are the only incandescent blubs on the whole car as far as I know.

Not on mine. Here are the pics of the stock ones I just pulled off

Interesting... Mine were not like that. They were IC bulbs. Mine has a March 2021 build date. Maybe they changed it? I have them in a box someplace. I will pull them out when I get a chance and take some pics.

mine has a June 2021 build date

i thought pretty much all the gt trims got led turn signals gt-line trims prior to 2022 had ic turn signals ... i thought it was the reverse bulbs that are ic on pre 2022 models i think it's still ic on 2022? ..

the reverse bulbs are absolutely incandescent.

I was just surprised to see these are LEDs, but are not individual like the fronts are. If they weren't sealed i would open them up to see

Yeah, the frosted housing holds incandescent bulbs. The brake light section on my Jan 2022 GT1 is LED.

The difference between @rbf351 's setup and mine is surprising.

I'm talking about the frosted blinking sections.

on mine it's LED.

It’s the difference between GT1 & GT2. Attached image is a few years old but appears accurate. FWIW, my ‘22 GT2 tailights are all LED.

 you are right.... i was going by kia's description of the gtline /gt1 on their build page and it says that gtline has led turn signals on 2022 models so by default gt1 would to since it says everything in gt-line Plus + ... but youtube video reviews of the 2022 gtline and gt1 definitely show incandescent bulbs for the turn signals and led for gt2 only.. Since kia's website shows that gtline and gt1 has led turn signals i wonder if that was a mid year change for 2022 models...

And yes, gt2 definitely has led turns for sure... I'm just surprised that they removed the led turn signals from the gt1 for 2022 since previously all gt trims had led turns... I wonder if 2022 gt-line and gt1 models manufactured more recently come with led turns.. 1641854775546.webp

Maybe they had a bunch of old stock and needed to use it somewhere? I bet the build date on the incandescent housings are from 2020 or earlier.

So they frosted the LED turns too? Sucks none got the clear corners.

I don't think it could be that (on the tail lights at least) because they are the new style that look almost identical to the KDM tail lights.

yea, the style is completely different so... there is a missmatch somewhere... either web team incorrectly updated the site... or the bean counters cut it last minute without telling them... lol.

I'll give you my theory... I think the plan had always been to use the sequential ones. At the last minute they realized they would not pass US DOT rules because of the way they sequence so they had to make a quick change by just gutting that whole circuit and replacing it with an IC. Then they had time to "fix" it and replaced it on newer cars a few months later.

Maybe. . but afaik the 2022 gt2s all got the non sequential leds .. maybe it was due to chip shortage? Lol
