Pass. So ugly.
I thought the same thing. At first when i saw it it looked like either a stinger or someone just rebadged it themselves. The Kia Korean site still shows the big Stinger logo on the back. Hope it stays that way. That looks like a sticker and not an actual badge. What does everyone else think? Is this finalized?
But the K is aftermarket and have never existed in the current form. Do you see many other brands being rebadged like KIA is. Either Kia Logo are not appreciated or people are ashame driving a Kia both case is not showing the company have succeed with its image. Kia need to have a branding that make sense. E logo / stinger script is the prettiest OEM setup (for korea only) but does not mean much to anybody...I still like the K logo the best
I agree with this. Before the Stinger, I would not have ever considered getting a Kia. Well I'm still not sure I would own any other Kia, I just find them kind of boring. They need to do something like Hyundai with the N cars.Either Kia Logo are not appreciated or people are a shame driving a Kia both case is not showing the company have succeed with its image.
This! Never considered them either. I was a Pontiac guy, was looking into the Chevy SS, which is basically like the Pontiac G8. Only things that held me back from getting one was it being rwd only, especially living in MN and the fact that the SS was discontinued in 2017. Plus, they're still freaking expensive. I paid 36k for a brand new 2020 awd gt. Any SS in my area for that price was most likely a 2014 and had 50-80k. As far as the brand image, that doesn't bother me one bit. I grove GM, anybody that drives a GM car, shouldn't be talking smack about Kia imo. Hell, had I bought an SS I woulda badge swapped it for a Holden grill in a heartbeat, it just looks cooler then the Chevy badge.I agree with this. I agree Chevrolet suffer from similar thing that Kia do about brand and image. They have a cheap car history and ugly logo too. They still have very cheap not so good car and very good sport that are relatively expensive at the same time in their line-up.This! Never considered them either. Noticed that right away as well. I was thinking "there better be 50 more hp to justify those"....And what's with those MASSIVE exhaust tips? Not a fan.
I prefer the tail lights like they are now. I agree with you on new tail lights looking too much like a charger tail light.Am I the only one that prefers the taillights the way they are? just feels very charger-ish in the new one
For the 2018-2020, I just wish they either had incorporated the 3rd brake light into the middle part or just had the tails be 2 individual pieces and have the middle part just be more trunk lid.I prefer the tail lights like they are now. Agreed, the fake light bar always bothered me.For the 2018-2020, I just wish they either had incorporated the 3rd brake light into the middle part or just had the tails be 2 individual pieces and have the middle part just be more trunk lid.
This question was answerred. Refreshed Stingers are keeping the 3.3T but add the 2.5T.Not a fan of that logo and while I like big exhaust tips those look too big for the car. The only real question that remains is will it have the new 3.5 motor that the Genesis is getting?
Thanks. Glad I got the 2021 and did not wait. This question was answerred. Refreshed Stingers are keeping the 3.3T but add the 2.5T.
Agree on the tips. Sometimes bigger is not better and these look out of place on that car. Not a fan of the changes. Since the motor is the same I'm glad I made a good deal on a 2021.Hmmmmmm
If people didn't know we are driving Kia's already, they definitely won't know now. Still looks like Nine Inch Nails to me. The Stinger script on the back as it currently is on the 19,20,21 is much better than that. And what's with those MASSIVE exhaust tips? Not a fan.
