2022 Stinger Spy shot with changed Kia logo

Pass. So ugly.

That looks like a sticker and not an actual badge. What does everyone else think? Is this finalized?
I thought the same thing. At first when i saw it it looked like either a stinger or someone just rebadged it themselves. The Kia Korean site still shows the big Stinger logo on the back. Hope it stays that way.

Overaized rear logo and they fell into the same mistake acura made with ASpec cars. Huuuge exhaust tips and its not nessasary 2018-Acura-TLX-A-Spec-24.webp2021-Kia-Stinger-GT-sedan-silver-Korean-Car-Blog-1001x565-1.webp

I still like the K logo the best
But the K is aftermarket and have never existed in the current form. Do you see many other brands being rebadged like KIA is. Either Kia Logo are not appreciated or people are ashame driving a Kia both case is not showing the company have succeed with its image. Kia need to have a branding that make sense. E logo / stinger script is the prettiest OEM setup (for korea only) but does not mean much to anybody...

After that the other best OEM setup is USA either Kia logo front and Stinger script for e back.

new KIA logo front and script back would have been a good setup that I am sure many would have kept like this.

I agree with this. Before the Stinger, I would not have ever considered getting a Kia. Well I'm still not sure I would own any other Kia, I just find them kind of boring. They need to do something like Hyundai with the N cars.

This! Never considered them either. I was a Pontiac guy, was looking into the Chevy SS, which is basically like the Pontiac G8. Only things that held me back from getting one was it being rwd only, especially living in MN and the fact that the SS was discontinued in 2017. Plus, they're still freaking expensive. I paid 36k for a brand new 2020 awd gt. Any SS in my area for that price was most likely a 2014 and had 50-80k. As far as the brand image, that doesn't bother me one bit. I grove GM, anybody that drives a GM car, shouldn't be talking smack about Kia imo. Hell, had I bought an SS I woulda badge swapped it for a Holden grill in a heartbeat, it just looks cooler then the Chevy badge.

I agree Chevrolet suffer from similar thing that Kia do about brand and image. They have a cheap car history and ugly logo too. They still have very cheap not so good car and very good sport that are relatively expensive at the same time in their line-up.

For the Corvette they went with its own logo and branding similar to the Stinger in Korea.

...And what's with those MASSIVE exhaust tips? Not a fan.
Noticed that right away as well. I was thinking "there better be 50 more hp to justify those".

Am I the only one that prefers the taillights the way they are? just feels very charger-ish in the new one
I prefer the tail lights like they are now. I agree with you on new tail lights looking too much like a charger tail light.

For the 2018-2020, I just wish they either had incorporated the 3rd brake light into the middle part or just had the tails be 2 individual pieces and have the middle part just be more trunk lid.

Agreed, the fake light bar always bothered me.

Not a fan of that logo and while I like big exhaust tips those look too big for the car. The only real question that remains is will it have the new 3.5 motor that the Genesis is getting?

This question was answerred. Refreshed Stingers are keeping the 3.3T but add the 2.5T.

Hmmmmmm

If people didn't know we are driving Kia's already, they definitely won't know now. Still looks like Nine Inch Nails to me. The Stinger script on the back as it currently is on the 19,20,21 is much better than that. And what's with those MASSIVE exhaust tips? Not a fan.
Agree on the tips. Sometimes bigger is not better and these look out of place on that car. Not a fan of the changes. Since the motor is the same I'm glad I made a good deal on a 2021.

agreed. Just finished the deal on my 21 GT2. I would have loved to have gotten the 10” infotainment but otherwise I far prefer the look of the first gen cars.

I actually don't mind the tailpipes and sort of gives the car a more aggressive look. Too many brands are using the bar taillight these days. Would have preferred KIA to work around the design of the current instead of just throwing it out the window (same thing happened with the 11'-13'Optima). New badge looks fine but like someone else mentioned making it as big as possible, another car trend thats quickly getting out of hand doesn't look that great. Putting it in an oval in the front with STINGER on the back would have looked the best.
As far as the original badges I would have kept them but the dealer swapped them out with the K badges. If anyone is ashamed to be driving a KIA WTH would you swap badges when all your'e doing is attracting even more attention to yourself. Most if not all, swap them out for the simple reason it looks better and any person would keep the original badge with the letters K I A if it looked better.
Will have to wait and see the car in person to make the final judgement.

I do like that they put the STINGER emblem on the back of the 2021 that I have as it just looks better. I have no issue with the other KIA emblems ( wheels, front end , steering wheel). I am way past the point of caring what other people think and I am not ashamed that I drive a KIA. The Telluride is a much sought after SUV that people are still paying over sticker for. The brand is changing and people are realizing that the quality and reliability are there.

The only area that this car falls a little short is fuel economy but I didn't buy it for that.
