Chain stitching was explained earlier in the thread. The green GT2 at Car Pros in Renton does not have it.

Ascot Green GT1.You found a 2022 before I posted the video? I don’t mean to fight for titles on the first video lol I’m just surprised, what color combo/trim did you get? Do you have a link so I can see your video? I’m new to all this and just want to provide info to members here and on YouTube, I don’t want to step on anyone’s toes by acting like I found things first.
Must have missed it. Thanks I’ll go back and look.Chain stitching was explained earlier in the thread. The green GT2 at Car Pros in Renton does not have it.
I just linked to it in my post.Must have missed it. Thanks I’ll go back and look.
Haha I did totally miss that post. I was even the next post too lol.Must have missed it. Thanks I’ll go back and look.
No worries. I had no idea what it was either.Haha I did totally miss that post. I was even the next post too lol.
The watch was a good analogy! Thanks
I am going to just stick with what I have. I don’t like the new seats, the rear lights, and the exhaust tips. Not a fan of the new seat pattern but what are you gonna do?
ITA. The seats look weirdly uncomfortable; exhaust tips are growing on me (pun intended?) but the actual exhaust tips are visible inside them.I am going to just stick with what I have. I don’t like the new seats, the rear lights, and the exhaust tips.
I like the new screen, blind spot video, new logo, variable exhaust, and the frameless rear view mirror.
I am so so on the new wheels.
I do not think that the Stinger misses features over comparable BMW, Mercedes etc, in fact for the price the Stinger is very well equiped. The problem is that most of feature or characteristic of the Stinger is less mature or quality vs the germans.
You get most of what the germany propose but just with lower level of implementation but you also pay much less.
- Interior material and quality
- Paint quality
- Fuel economy vs performance
- Drive modes the significantly change the car behavior and sound
- Handling at the limits
- Infotainment while working well is graphics / resolution is not so good
- No real transmission manual mode
- ....
I mean that for example in BMW shift by wire cars you still have a manual section on the shifter and when you set it there the car never revert back to auto mode, shift for you even if you come to a dead stop or hit the rev limiter! It is still an automatic transmission but never shift for you unless you put it back to auto yourself or turn off the engine. What do you mean, "no real manual transmission mode"?
GT1 has 3 reflector housings (what you find in regular cars) and 4 straight DRL light (2 at the top and 2 at the bottom)I don't see any difference between the two. What am I missing?
Those wheels create some kind of strange effect that make them look tiny. They look like 17s.
Ahh, now I see it.GT1 has 3 reflector housing and 4 straight DRL light (2 at the top and 2 at the bottom)
GT2 has 2 projector housing and 2 waved DRL at the bottom
ETA: I think I see what you mean: the GT1 headlight is what will be used for the 2.5L as well. Thanks a ton for the pics! The GT2 headlights are badass.some better picture of the new dark turquoise color (Ascot Green) from KCB.
Also comparison of the new base model (2.5T / GT1) headlight side by side vs GT2.
Ah, you mean for the GT2. My GT1 works exactly like you describe. Well, I have to manually put it back into auto/park when I'm done. And to hit the rev limiter, I have to disable some of the nannies, otherwise it will upshift. But, in "disable stage 2", by moving the lever left, I can hit the rev limiter, it never shifts back into auto, etc.I mean that for example in BMW shift by wire cars you still have a manual section on the shifter and when you set it there the car never revert back to auto mode, shift for you even if you come to a dead stop or hit the rev limiter! It is still an automatic transmission but never shift for you unless you put it back to auto yourself or turn off the engine.
When you turn off the engine if in manual mode there is a small motor that push back the shifter to auto position.
I would be actually very suprised if there are holes behind it. They already make different hole for different market and sometime have hole in the back (kia logo) and sometime they don't (Stinger script).I really hate the way the new Kia badge looks on the front. It's just way too big, a weird colour, and totally like some kind of crappy aftermarket ebay badge. I'm guessing they didn't want to have to change the construction of the existing front bumper, so had to make the new logo a lot bigger for it to fully cover up the existing alignment holes. Really turns me off.
