2022 Kia Stinger Full America Info!!

How are those headlights new? The new LED DRLs are on the GT1 or GT-Line (both? not sure). But the GT2 (GT1?) continue with the original DRL layout; did Kia do something to the actual headlights that is different? I'm not seeing it.

Ascot Green for the GT-Line too, cool.

Merlin, I believe the gt2 headlights remain the same as before (dynamic bending blabla) and everything else (gt line/GT1) gets the newer style headlights with the split DRL pattern.

I read somewhere that the new GT2 headlights were improved and slightly darker interior around the led projector but I guess it is hard to notice since the design remain the same.

You’re probably right.

Yep it is....

Wish there was a ventilated seat option for the GT-line.

Also, hope they have some strong incentives (lease or otherwise). If I can get the Ascot Green GT-line w/ sun and sound for around $34k or less OTD w/ incentives, haggling, etc., I'm pulling the trigger.
34k? I paid 36 otd for my 2020 awd gt. Can't imagine paying that much for the 4 cylinder.

Well I hope you're right!

But 2022 AWD GT-line w/ sun and sound package is listed at around $42k right now. Do you think I can knock $8k off with negotiating and incentives? Keep in mind that the lease/buyout deals are a lot worse than they used to be.

Maybe I should shoot for more off, though.

You do you, me personally i sacrificed the sunroof and the extra goodies of the gt1/gt2 to at least get the car with the engine i wanted.

I still don't understand how the GT-Line has the option to add the Harman Kardon sound system and the GT1 does not

I felt that way about the 2018-2021 model as well. The premium 4 cylinder and the gt-line sun/sound package you could get some of the extra goodies that could be had on the gt1 but they weren't available on a base gt. You had to get a gt1 to get those things.

I am fine with not getting the Harman Kardon sound system that only comes with the GT2 because I don't feel like paying $8,000 more dollars for it :). It's just very surprising to me that there is such a price gap with no options/packages to add some features from the GT2

Very strange indeed.

Us Canadian have the GT Elite similar to GT2 and the GT Limited is only 2500$CAD difference the Elite. We do not have a really basic GT (GT1).

GT Limited (the cheapest less equiped) is still very well equiped and on top of my head vs your GT1 add
  • Harman Kardon
  • Previous Gen GT1 projector lights
  • Cooled seats, heated back seats
  • Shift by wire transmission
  • 7" supervision display
But we still do not get in any trims front parking sensor and rear dynamic dampers but we do get LSD on the Elite Trim (AWD).

Not sure how many have seen this video but it makes you want to join the Marvel Universe driving a Stinger.......

My love is still for the 2.5

Music is perfect for the video. GT going sideways in the snow is "dreamy"...

Anyone know if the 2022 GT-Line has interior led accent lighting? Like the color changeable type?

From comparing on the website no. Bummed about that even though it's not that big of a deal

From the press release:

Kia Stinger's interior upgrades sharpen the renowned driver-centric experience:

  • Ambient LED mood cabin lighting with vibrant selection of colors
Is that what you are referring to??

i think hes asking for the specific trim GT-Line. Using the Build on the website it doesnt appear so. Looks like the accent lighting is only on GT1 and GT2.

Still baffles me that this car is full led..... except the reverse lights. Probably the bean counters were like " you gotta give us something, anything, to keep costs down. Ok, the reverse light! Saved how many millions.
LMFAO!

I'm genuinely disappointed that my GT has heated seats but not cooled/ventilated seats. Very unfortunate.
