How are those headlights new? The new LED DRLs are on the GT1 or GT-Line (both? not sure). But the GT2 (GT1?) continue with the original DRL layout; did Kia do something to the actual headlights that is different? I'm not seeing it.

Merlin, I believe the gt2 headlights remain the same as before (dynamic bending blabla) and everything else (gt line/GT1) gets the newer style headlights with the split DRL pattern.

I read somewhere that the new GT2 headlights were improved and slightly darker interior around the led projector but I guess it is hard to notice since the design remain the same.

Wish there was a ventilated seat option for the GT-line.
Also, hope they have some strong incentives (lease or otherwise). If I can get the Ascot Green GT-line w/ sun and sound for around $34k or less OTD w/ incentives, haggling, etc., I'm pulling the trigger.
But 2022 AWD GT-line w/ sun and sound package is listed at around $42k right now. Do you think I can knock $8k off with negotiating and incentives? Keep in mind that the lease/buyout deals are a lot worse than they used to be.

I felt that way about the 2018-2021 model as well. The premium 4 cylinder and the gt-line sun/sound package you could get some of the extra goodies that could be had on the gt1 but they weren't available on a base gt. You had to get a gt1 to get those things.

I am fine with not getting the Harman Kardon sound system that only comes with the GT2 because I don't feel like paying $8,000 more dollars for it . It's just very surprising to me that there is such a price gap with no options/packages to add some features from the GT2

i think hes asking for the specific trim GT-Line. Using the Build on the website it doesnt appear so. Looks like the accent lighting is only on GT1 and GT2.

Still baffles me that this car is full led..... except the reverse lights. Probably the bean counters were like " you gotta give us something, anything, to keep costs down. Ok, the reverse light! Saved how many millions.
