On my Prelude, which has OEM carbon fiber trim all around with the black interior, I like it like that, but to each their own. The red interior (*sigh* would've loved that on mine) would certainly look good with CF.
I loved that ZX-9. It was like the Stinger in many ways. Respectable performance (although out-performed by the hard-core bikes at the time), but still comfortable for long hauls. That middle-ground leaning on the sport side is the sweet spot I think.
Dope to see other mustang owners here. I'm looking to get into a Stinger next year. Was debating between the G80 Sport, the Stinger, and the Corvette C7. After heavy debate, I feel like the Stinger is a mix of both. Nice refinement/luxury/tech features and good speed/handling. Gonna be a birthday gift for myself, plan is to pay off the Mustang, give it to my little sister (her dream car), then get the Stinger.

Do you have any details on the 3.5TTV6? For example, what family of engine does it belong to (Lambda?), does it use hydraulic valve lifters, etc. Thanks.
H/K/G have been mum on that, as opposed to the Theta III 2.5T (where there is some info. available).
Only thing is that it will be capable of pumping out 400+ hp.
And based on the smart-stream tech that is being adding to their newest engines - should have direct and multi-port injection and be a good bit more thermally efficient.
Well, went ahead and pulled the trigger on a '19 RWD blue gt2. I friggen love it! Found an article somewhere outlining the changes for Australian 2020 stingers and it didn't seem like worth waiting for.

One more question, do you know if the D-AWD system is making its way to the Stinger in 2020? I read a KDM brochure for the 2020 Stinger which seemed to suggest this was happening.
Shockingly KIA hasn't offered the red interior with the Panthera Metal in the States. Hopefully this combo becomes available in 2020. Had a similar setup on a 335i coupe a few years back, stunning combo.
For the Australian market, this article mentions an "additional layer of NVH insulation in the roof lining." Perhaps this came about after the roof rattle complaints. Perhaps this will carry over to other markets for 2020.

Awesome! Congrats Ninjawasaki! I saw a youtube video by Asian Petrolhead (link below) where he talked about the new 2020 changes in Korea. They seemed really minor, except for the headlights turning with the steering wheel. I don't really care about that too much. Also, who knows if that feature will even make it to the US. So, I'm trying to work on a deal for a 2019 red GT2 AWD in a few days. Will see how it goes!
Yep, we had it on our MY19 GT (we don't get GT/GT1/GT2, just the GT as the top of the range car) as well. Not sure about the MY18s, I don't have access to the MY18 brochure any more, but I do recall being told that it was there.
Crap - you're right! How did I miss that? I've been obsessed with this car for a few months now. Oh well - that's actually great news as I thought I was giving up on that feature if I got a 2019. Thanks for the clarification!
Ya took mine out tonight for the first night and the dynamic headlights were awesome. I live in a more rural area and drive a lot of back roads, was definitely a handy feature around turns.
Initially I was kinda bummed about there not being fog lights...but with as wide a spread as the headlights give I don't need them now. Honestly just used fog lights in the past to lightup the sides of the road to see deer haha.
I went to a local dealer (Manassas, VA) and they had a few 2019's that were manufactured in May, and they all had the centered large Stinger script badge with the Kia badge removed! These were definitely 2019 models according to their Maroney stickers and VINs. I guess they are changing the rear badge layout for 2020, although I'm surprised they made the change before the model year switchover.

Hyundai and Kia tend to do this a lot. Around midway or later through a MY build run they'll start adding changes to the cars that will appear in all of the next MY models. Nothing drastic and almost no big announcements of it. Like, the 2013 Genesis Coupe 2.0T have different pistons, among other things depending on the build date. Any BK2 GC after 6/1/13 had the improved internals that could more readily hold higher power levels. The 3.8s had their tunes tweaked almost constantly during production runs and there was a smattering of TSBs you could ask the dealer for to have your stock tune receive the updates.

There's a good chance the dealer did it locally, as it's a low-cost but almost universally popular change. Others have posted about dealer swapped badges on new stock as well.
