2019 GT2 - Total Loss

nah, its fine. it would just be retaliated at with *well I know this or I know that* Blah blah blah. If the dude wants to buy a 30 year old unreliable, uncomfortable, creaky boat just because he can get it for MSRP, more power to him.

The Stinger is picture perfect right? Stingers don't creak at all right? Hahahaha... Clueless.

Unreliable? That's hilarious....
This was my Stinger with 3600 miles on it getting the rear main seal replaced...

You don't know Jack. But you're obviously well versed in BUTTHURT.

I spent a few minutes writing out a longer response, but Ill scrap it and just say, okay. Good for you. Just voicing some obvious facts.

great cars..... LOL

Say it!

All jokes aside, Its definitely a step down for most. I would keep my search horizon wider.

What I don't understand is why they named those Dodges after feces.

Thank you for your feedback. It has been filed appropriately.

How about an EV? Funny to ask that to someone looking at V8 muscle cars, but hey, they're fast, cheap on fuel, and many new models are coming online all the time. And since you're in no rush it won't matter if you have to order and wait. Plus, ordering one means no dealership price gouging. They are super quiet though, so any rattles will sound a lot louder than a comparable rattle in a muscle car.

Editing a comment and adding/bolding "butthurt" isnt part of the game anymore fam.

He had valid points, sure Stingers can break down, just like any car. But doesn't necessarily mean it isnt untrue on chargers/challengers on its issues.

Dont need to file this one though.

I didn't say anything about the stinger being any more reliable did I?

Also, you had the rear main seal replaced? That's cute.

I had my entire motor replaced due to an issue that even the corporate engineer's at Kia's California HQ and Development Lab cant figure out, have built several entire vehicles and motors myself, including the 427 I currently have in my Monte Carlo, and I am aware that the stingers can creak anywhere from not at all to nails on a chalkboard. I ALSO have partial ownership of a shop that has been running for 30 years, with 4 of every 10 vehicles being Chrysler family vehicles.

So no, YOU don't know Jack. But you're obviously well versed in BUTTHURT yourself.

If you want to buy a Mopar, go for it. clearly I struck a nerve. You will definitely be living up to your username here and be in for some Ruffstuff.

Here is a link to the Florida state boating course, which will allow you to have your boating license legally everywhere in the United States. you will need it if you do end up picking up a scow.

I've never been dedicated to any specific manufacturer and so far considering my experience with KIA or any korean made vehicles at the moment are only for a few months. But one thing I will say from my experiences with Ford, Mopar, and Toyota/Scion is out of all of them...the Mopar had the most random issues. Mainly with electronics and hydraulics.

The only issue I had with the Ford was the notorious valve cover gasket oil leak and the switch for the rear window didn't always work. If it weren't for getting T boned I would have drove that truck until it rusted out from under me (which it would have since the Bronco had well known rust spots).

The Scion had some odd issues near the end of its life. The transmission issues I completely put the blame on myself, I was pretty rough with it. But the only other two issues that lead to me getting rid of it were an exhaust leak in the engine compartment and what I believe was a short in a wiring harness somewhere as the check engine light would come on when it rained.

The 2000 sebring (thankfully with the mitsubishi engine, not the mopar which was known to have a sludging issue) on the other hand the shift solenoid sensor crap out at only about 45k miles, the ac compressor seized, the oil pressure sensor/sending unit failed, the window switches randomly would work or wouldn't work, the hydraulics for the convertible top developed a leak and the REAL reason for getting rid of it...the brake lines had a leak somewhere which developed around right around 100k miles.

Personally out of the different manufacturers I've owned the only one I vowed never to buy again was a mopar...but that's my experience. I know others who've owned plenty of mopars and can't imagine buying anything else. So there is that. Whatever you wind up getting, hopefully it brings you happiness.

I agree and it's not off the table. In fact I have free chargers at work.

I didn't mean to offend you, it just never made sense to me. It must have some meaning that I've never caught on to.

Replace your car with a Vanagon for all I care.

I have had several Vanagons, got to the point of being able to replace a cylinder head on the side of the road. Don't recommend.
