2019 GT2 - Total Loss

I feel for you. Several years ago I was out on the west coast and was given a base Jeep Compass as my rental. Absolute garbage. It struggled to get up the hills in San Francisco.
Seriously. If you're going down a level highway at 75mph and change the cruise control to 76... It has to downshift.

Wow, you get a Stinger while you wait? Count yourself lucky.
Car Rental is right by my house so I was looking for anything decent to swap every time I passed by. Saw the Stinger sitting there and said today's the day!

Looks like I'll be leaving the Stinger world behind.
Every Kia dealer around here (North/Central Florida) wants $5000 over MSRP for a new Stinger... Even the dealer that sold me my car and did all my services over those 100,000 miles. I will never do that.

Going to check out a Charger Scat Pack Widebody and Challenger Scat Pack Widebody today, both 2022's. We'll see how it goes.

I really want a new one since they totalled mine. But the GT2s around here are in the low 60s which is nutz.

No offense but horrible choice for a scatty lol and it would be more than the Stinger I would assume.

Have fun looking at the 1993 Mercedes E Class with a functional hood scoop and worse interior! Seriously though, the interiors of every single charger/challenger are just awful.

NOOOOOOOOOO!!! LOL. Man, gotta do what you gotta do. Not a huge fan, but if you stance out a Charger it's not bad. They sound good too. What about a low mileage, gently used Audi S5, with the sportback. Really like the looks of those and super easy to tune them up.

Good luck!

Not offended but you're wrong, it's a great choice, perhaps the best choice... Yes it is more than the Stinger, but for me it's not the actual price, it's the actual dealer profit.

I'll take the 305/35-20's all 4 corners, the sound of a V8 and the generic CJDR knobs over a catback and intake that doesn't even sound as good as a Forte GT.

I find it funny how some people get butthurt when discussing other brands. Get over it. I put 100,000 miles on my 2019 GT2, if I want something else I don't need your validation, acceptance or approval. In fact, I tried to get another GT2, either a grand tourer or a leftover Scorpion, but I don't do market adjustments. So, since I can get the Dodges for $100 less than invoice and they are great cars, so be it.

Like I said, nothing is set in stone. If I don't get another Stinger I'll just move along to something else, just like many of you will have to do after 2023.

Not interested in an S5. RS5, sure but if I was going to spend $100k I would get a C8.

Not sure how much scats go in u.s.. and also, dont know if you have a family or interested in a coupe. The supra also is an excellent choice and go for about 60k (in canada anyway)

The Supra will be excellent when it gets Android Auto.

I spent a few minutes writing out a longer response, but Ill scrap it and just say, okay. Good for you. Just voicing some obvious facts.

Say it!

All jokes aside, Its definitely a step down for most. I would keep my search horizon wider.

nah, its fine. it would just be retaliated at with *well I know this or I know that* Blah blah blah. If the dude wants to buy a 30 year old unreliable, uncomfortable, creaky boat just because he can get it for MSRP, more power to him.
