Same deductible, but true.Look on the bright side. A deer hit is considered a comp claim. You probably have lower deductible for that. Also, I believe that such a claim is considered not at fault. Win win.

Yes and then some.Does the insurance payout include market adjustment (inflation)?
The cops said it was dead in the road.I hope you took care of the deer if needed.
It drove relatively fine...Don't know any details other than what I could see. With a 29k estimate, I assume mechanically something was wrong. Cosmetically seeing 29k mostly seems wild.
I would only buy a Scorpion for no more than MSRP. So probably not. I have several vehicles so I'm in no rush.what's next? new stinger?
Lol the answer is in the first 5 seconds.Curious to know what they're offering... 2019 with how many miles?
Wow glad youre okay.I think I am getting screwed here - a guy hit me two weeks ago and did some serious damage - radiator and intercooler crushed. Insurance said it was repairable and estimate was less than 12,000.
It's at a repair shop now.
It's a 2019 GTS RWD with less than 8,000 miles. If it's totaled I will get screwed on the loss - car was worth at least 42K or more.
On another note - I am glad you are ok - any accident is a total mess for the mindset - for me major PTSD when driving now and down to 1 car and want another stinger if this is totaled but will pay out the a$$.
Yes thank you I still have hope but all the BS I went through is really trying me out. 2 weeks to find a shop that could take me.Wow glad youre okay.
Surprised the estimate is 12k. Seems way more if I am honest. Glad to know its repairable. Also the federation orange too.
I feel you. Waiting on my car repairs aswell. I never took it to Kia for that soul purpose. Gave it to my repair shop close by that I have a good relationship with. The waiting on parts is the drag, already two months in but I hope your car gets repaired promptly!Yes thank you I still have hope but all the BS I went through is really trying me out. 2 weeks to find a shop that could take me.
Plus initially totalled the low ball estimates...and told by shop kia is the worst for spare parts and repairs.
My initial insurance company estimate was repairable and $12k. The first 2 shops rejected the car (or became too busy overnight), the 3rd accepted. Took the 3rd shop almost 2 weeks to do the teardown and estimate. The time from when insurance had the car picked up until they offered the settlement was 35 days.I think I am getting screwed here - a guy hit me two weeks ago and did some serious damage - radiator and intercooler crushed. Yes thank you for the reply. It fills in a lot of questions I had. I really think I am going to lose the car. Like you stated a headlight alone is 1800 and mine was destroyed damage all the way back to the wires and it is missing the radiator intercooler fan etc.My initial insurance company estimate was repairable and $12k. I believe the biggest problem for these cars when damaged isn't the damage itself, but the parts availability for replacements. Shops not only can't get parts, they can't even get ETA's for the parts they need...
Fortunately, this is Comprehensive and I have rental coverage. The first 3 weeks I had a Jeep Compass and I absolutely hated it. Went in and traded it out for a 2021 Stinger GT-Line. Coming from a tuned GT2... Close but not the same. lolYes thank you for the reply. It fills in a lot of questions I had. I really think I am going to lose the car. I don't have Rental car coverage so the insurance company doesn't care if it takes 6 months to fix. Rentals are expensive and no guarantees I can recover from the other insurance company. Appreciate all the responses. Tough times every where on supply issues.
Glitched? Ha. That was me rolling over 100k hours before I hit the deer. I drive a lot.Sorry for your loss. Did your stinger really have 100k mikes or did it get glitched out from the damage?
I feel for you. Several years ago I was out on the west coast and was given a base Jeep Compass as my rental. Absolute garbage. It struggled to get up the hills in San Francisco. The first 3 weeks I had a Jeep Compass and I absolutely hated it.
Well it’s good to see our beloved stingers with high mileage lolGlitched? Ha. That was me rolling over 100k hours before I hit the deer. I drive a lot.
