Add Shreveport, La to this list. I just got of the phone and they have a showroom car in!
I just saw this morning Metro Kia in Madison, WI has a red one on the floor from a tweet on their account. Going there over lunch today to check it out and take pictures. Will post my thoughts, pictures this afternoon.
Would love to find a salesperson like that in my area. It really annoys me when I know more about the product than the sales person. (Hasn't happened with the Stinger yet, but I have low expectations.)Stopped in today... Sales person was on top of his game as he's buying one when they come in early December.

Also, that's actually the first time I've seen the hatch deck removed. I would much prefer to see it as a flat cover, because those molded ones are difficult to store when you're also carrying cargo. No big deal, though. Small potatoes with all of the other topics associated with the car.
It also looks like the bumper is pretty far away from where the trunk actually begins. I'll have to measure that gap when I finally see one and compare it to my Optima. Of course that's a proper trunk so even if the gap is a little shorter, you still have to raise things higher up to get them in and out. I almost wish the hatch was two parts with the vertical bit being a tailgate I could flip down and sit on to put snowboard boots on. That's a pretty specific niche that Kia probably doesn't need to cater to though![]()
I recommend calling the dealership to confirm. I gave my number to a few salesmen but did not receive a call and was told the manager did not want them to call since it was not available to drive, although the car was there. Definitely cannot rely on Kia salesmen.Wow. Thread killer right there
I wonder if this is a list of all dealers that will have a stinger on display at some point, or if all of these have one right now? Because this list refers to 4 dealers in or near my city, and I've received no indication whatsoever that two of those have one as of right now. Granted, I have not visited those two yet in person, but I've asked both dealerships to let me know if they receive one, and have also been stalking Facebook pages and have not seen or heard anything.
That’s the color combination I want. Awesome when you see it and sit in it huh.Would love to find a salesperson like that in my area. It really annoys me when I know more about the product than the sales person. (Hasn't happened with the Stinger yet, but I have low expectations.)

Sounds about par for the course. The closest Kia dealer to me is on the list so I stopped by there today. No dice.
All the on s near me already have one except the closest one and that is not on the list. I think they are there now. I have 3 dealers within 30 miles with one. That’s a bummer in some states only have a couple. I feel for them. The closest Kia dealer to me is on the list so I stopped by there today. No dice.

That dealer is being weird... if they want a chance of selling you one of these when they come out, they should absolutely let you sit in it and let you open anything you want. Only direction from Kia corporate is to not drive them at all. I would have told them "thanks for letting me look, I'll probably pick one up from the dealer across town when these come out."Finally got to see it in person. They wouldn't let me open anything though. Not sure if that's policy or this particular dealer being weird. Gonna visit another dealer tomorrow and see if I can tinker with it.
Yeah, I've communicated with this dealership through email and I am not impressed. There communication is bad. There FB page is horrible. Their salesmen are pushy. The car was filthy. Luckily, the other dealership I want to try is the exact same distance from me.That dealer is being weird... if they want a chance of selling you one of these when they come out, they should absolutely let you sit in it and let you open anything you want. It’s strange when I go to a dealership and I take more pride in a car than the salesman or I see something on the ground and they just keep walking. Being a good salesman I would research and know what people like us know from the internet.Yeah, I've communicated with this dealership through email and I am not impressed. I actually wouldn't want to be told "my pleasure" by a fast food chicken server because it's obviously disingenuous. Nobody takes pleasure in serving fast food chicken, or it's really weird if they do. HahaIt's all in the training and hiring process. Just like you have a different experience at Chick-Fil-A ("my pleasure") versus most other fast food joints. Or Southwest Airlines, Enterprise Rent-A-Car, the Apple Store -- the list goes on. We have a dealership network in Dallas called Sewell Auto Group (www.sewell.com) -- they sell everything from Mercedes to Subaru. Kia could learn a lot from their dealer business model.
