2018 Kia Stinger Dealer and Mall Displays Full Listing (USA)

I made it to Bob King Kia in Winston Salem NC which is already on the list. They have the BEAUTIFUL Deep Chroma Blue, GT V6 version. My fav that may not be avail in US, dealership did not know any info. It had a purple hue in the showroom lights, very special color. Kia if you're watching, please make Deep Chroma Blue available in US. Bob King Kia will let you play with it, open trunk, and moonroof is open, whatever you want except start it and drive it. Sadly i forgot to look under the hood, but I'm not sure if this was an option as I believe the hood release inside was removed. On interior, the top is soft leather and looks feel great. Under is a harder leather (regular, nothing special about it but looks decent). The seats were comfortable and me being 5'3" I was able to adjust the seats to a comfortable position, the hood did not block my vision ahead - exciting! Hope you enjoy the pics, some are similar to others already posted but I figured why not. :) I have a video of the trunk closing also but unfortunately it was too large to post.

Dutch Miller Kia in Charlotte NC also has one. It is red with red interior. They are apparently closed, so I only got a glimpse through the window and it looked beautiful also. Kia if you're listening...Deep Chroma Blue with Red interior would be an amazing combo!

If you had looked under the hood you would have seen that the car at Bob King is a 2.0T with all the high-end options quite a few of which are not available in the US on that model. It is the 2.0 I would probably jump on if it were offered here.

Sorry if this has already been posted, not about to scour the threads to see if this is a dupe...
Courtesy of Luther Kia in Bloomington, MN; At the 1:53 mark, "you'll have wireless charging". So, we can at least lay that one small controversy to rest.
Very interesting...so the Premium trim gets Nappa leather, a heated steering wheel, and shift-by-wire?

Why no flat bottom steering wheel, though?

I think flat bottom steering is on the highest trims

Great! I'm looking forward to hearing from you. I'll add this dealership to the list. :)

It was another 2.0 Deep Chroma Blue. Gorgeous in person. So comfortable.

Posted 2 galleries (pending approval) of pictures I was able to take during the hour or so that I was there. Tried to focus on smaller areas and details than general areas... We have enough of those pics already. ;)

Forgot to mention that I did caption each pic with my thoughts.

It appears that the album's are visible now... At least, they no longer say they are awaiting approval.

I hope you all enjoy!

FYI, Ourisman Chantilly, VA still has their demo, although the battery was dead when I went by this time, so no seat adjustments or hatch opening. Disappointing that they'd let a "detail" like that slip, given how big of deal this seems to be for Kia corporate.

Do you happen to know offhand if Chantilly is the closest dealership in the D.C. to carry the Stinger or have a demo model? Don't much feel like driving out to Chantilly from Gaithersburg.

According to another thread, Stingers will only be sold at existing K900 dealerships. Using the "Authorized K900 Dealer" filter on Kia's search page, I only see two DC-area dealers. The other one is much further away (Woodbridge), and they haven't advertised that they have one, but I haven't contacted them either.

Personally, I'll tell you it was well worth the drive for me. If you do decide to go, I'd recommend calling them first to make sure they charge the battery. It was very disappointing on my second visit to not be able to adjust the seat/wheel, or open the hatch, especially after seeing other people post that they even got access to the key and were able to tinker with the entertainment system and cameras.

Appreciate the info. I work walking distance from Herson's Kia in Rockville, MD and it's been super convenient being able to take my Optima there for service, but it seems like they won't be getting the Stinger. I'd happily drive to Chantilly to test drive and buy a Stinger, but with them yanking the sunset yellow from the USA I'm not quite as hyped as I was. I might still cave and get one, but instead of pre-ordering I'll probably wait and hear first impressions from you all once the first wave gets delivered. Maybe shoot for the Spring since our area bounces between an inch of snow all Winter and horrific snowpocalypse that leaves me house-bound for several days.

Thanks for the pics. It looks like the car is very well designed.

I came across an official list of Stingers on display in the US. This was on the Kia website.

Wow. Thread killer right there :p

I wonder if this is a list of all dealers that will have a stinger on display at some point, or if all of these have one right now? Because this list refers to 4 dealers in or near my city, and I've received no indication whatsoever that two of those have one as of right now. Granted, I have not visited those two yet in person, but I've asked both dealerships to let me know if they receive one, and have also been stalking Facebook pages and have not seen or heard anything.

So no Stingers in Maryland, except the one in the mall they list as Washington, D.C. actually is in Maryland 15 minutes from my local Kia dealer which won't be getting the Stinger? Makes sense Kia, thanks.

I find their communication frustrating. I signed up ages ago for updates on that site, yet there's been no messaging about a pretty informative marketing update like that. Meanwhile, I get updates about stuff that's been posted for months, and then repeat updates to the updates.

I just saw this morning Metro Kia in Madison, WI has a red one on the floor from a tweet on their account. Going there over lunch today to check it out and take pictures. Will post my thoughts, pictures this afternoon.

Shawnee Mission Kia is right down the street from me. Going to go see how accurate this list is.

YES! Local dealer called me and said they had a showroom Stinger in. I don't know what color, I have been there, but for those of you around the Shreveport, La, Orr Kia of Shreveport, has one. I know where I am going after work!
