Lots of goo gone and dental floss/fishing line, no heat. Saw all the way to the posts on all sides before trying to pull he badge off.

Your goal should be to cut the foam tape in half to get the badge off then pull the remaining tape off by hand. If you try to pull the badge and tape off together you have a better chance of taking paint with the badge.

Sure, i'd suggest using fishing line to saw back and forth behind the emblem for removal. I also used some heat from a hair dryer which definitely helped. A popular youtuber has a how-to video where he uses squeegees to pry the emblem off after using a heatgun but i think that causes alot of scratches that the fishing line method doesnt. Go get some automotive goo gone and spray it around the badge as youre sawing with the fishing line. I ended up using 8lb line but was still breaking the line quite often. Dental floss is a waste of time so dont bother with it. Once the badge is off, prepare to be annoyed with the amount of adhesive you have to remove with the googone haha.

I try to install the Eibach lower spring this weekend and failed....I cannot get the two ball joint to disconnect...Took me 15 minutes to assemble everything except the ball joint to come off. I do not have the tool to get it off and decide to put every thing back again. A local shop estimate to install just the front spring between $300-$350. Anybody here have a trick or two for me to get it off, I went to Harbor Fright to buy a ball joint tool, but they do not have the size I need to pop out the ball joint. I already try youtube and its not showing nothing about how to get it off. If this was a $5000 Honda civic I would have bang the Sh*t out of it and go buy another ball joint at auto zone, but this is a $40000 car and no can't do.

Try your local auto part store(s) - see if they have what you need as part of their free specialty tool loan program. I made use of that when I had fuel injection problems on another vehicle - the expensive specialty gauge pointed me right where I needed to go, and I simply returned it when I was done - at no charge.

Not a 'did to', but a 'did with'. Old airstrip here runs drags on Sunday. Did 7 runs, my first time ever dragging a car. Best was a 13.786 which isn't bad for the elevation (5100') and condition of the strip. Lost to a 12 sec Nova, beat a 2014 5.0 Mustang.

Wife took this picture. Yeah, the whole strip is in that condition. Crumbling, grass growing through. Lol.

Looks nice man! I was a bit skeptic of this as it's a Chinese manufacturer that knocked off M&S, so the fit, finish and overall quality was questionable. Let us know how it holds up after 6 months or so when it's been exposed to the elements.

@BlaydeX15 Novice dragster envy. I didn't buy this car to drag race (never done one in my whole life). But in that venue I would line it up! I don't see any difference between pushing my car alone and alongside side some other fool! Other than it would be more fun alongside some other fool.

Back in the 50's/60's use to run in the Super Stock category at the drag strip. That was in S. Michigan when I was car crazy. Now I'm in Florida and car crazy, but don't race or speed any more.

Yeah, it was a great experience. No pressure, no elitism, the only rules were common sense "don't be dumb and don't crash". Just a bunch of dudes who rent out the airstrip for fun. Definitely a good spot to learn. The guy who ran the timer spent like an hour with me showing me how to do a burnout to prep the tires, how to line it up right, the best line to take, and trying to bring me in below my goal of 13.X (most of my runs were 14.1ish). Was a good time, met some cool dudes and will definitely be back.

I didn't buy it to drag either, but it's cool to meet people who are into cars, and it's nice to let your fast car go fast without risking your license. Lol.
