Not for me, I have a gt1 but for any of the 2.0 members.I am not sure if the Module will work on the 2.0 Stinger? Please private message me, and I will speak to Lap3 about it.
What percent tint do you have on that thing ? Also make sure you get new plugs if you get a lap3 for the stingerGotcha. I will have to check with Lap3
Can you do that even if there is no paint chip yet?Welcome Kevin! No one is bringing “it” up but blue is a paint challanged color. Dare I say, don’t cover it yet. Open a claim immediately with Kia via the Stinger 800 number. They’ll tell you what to do. Do that before investing in any paint protection.
No chipping means no problem for Kia to address. Other than the Sunset Yellow, they are handling all paint issues on a case by case basis, not covering any other colors en masse like the Yellow; and no compensation either; just the warranty. If you don't have chipping be glad. And protect your car.Can you do that even if there is no paint chip yet?
Kevin mentioned paint chips. Can you do that even if there is no paint chip yet?
It does indeed. 11/17 and 12/17 are, far and away, the two most represented months with paint issues.12/17 manufacture date... don't know if this has any bearing on the paint issues?

None at all, on probably 90% plus of them. I think that there is probably less than 2% of all other colors than Yellow that have flaking/chipping paint. If you don't already have a chipping of paint under the forward lower corners of the headlight assembly; if you don't see any teensy (pinpoint) flaws anywhere; if any stones hitting your front bumper only produce the smallest of nicks, and do not create a flake or chip, if other areas of the paint far away from frontal impact areas are pristine, then your car is fine. Coat it! Put PPF on it! If, by chance, later (within the 36 months/36K miles paint warranty - page 8 in the owner's Warranty and Consumer Information Manual) you find some issue with your paint, Kia will cover it without cost to you.Uh Oh, I just bought a micro blue GT2 AWD - what problems are there with the paint? Scheduled for a sapphire ceramic coating on Aug. 24.
