buy now or wait the 2019 model?

Thanks for the Facebook tip! I found the following JPEGs. The images were not the best but it is readable.

Cheers

Wow, thank you, I spent some time to look for them with no sucess. Seems like we are not getting UVO remote start.

R-click and open image in a new tab (or download). I tried to convert them all into a PDF but the forum software wouldn't let me upload a ~450k file. :(

Hope that helps!

No mention of a GT spec trim for the 2.0 and heated rear seats are only on the GT2. Still no heated Steering wheel unless you get AWD.

seems like they're actively pushing people up market. We were looking at the base GT, but if you can't get the safety features anymore may just get an out going 2018, get a higher trim or wait for 2020

Thanks for sharing!

That works. I thought I knew how to do that already. Heh.

I don't see anything that I want. In fact, I'm glad my GT1 won't have all that "driver assist" stuff as standard. It is cool that the GT2 gets the 360 degree camera (is it an option on the lower trims?). The lower top speed for AS tires and 18" rims is clearly laid out, including a lower top speed speedometer (sort of like an underscore: "You will not be going as fast in this car!").

Can't comment on the other features but as part of my training today I learned the 2019s will have Surround View Monitor available so I can confirm that.
Unless you signed an NDA.

Same. I picked up my GT2 yesterday and while it would be cool to say I have those features, I no longer feel like I'm missing out.

360 camera, from all I can see, it's a pretty old interface and not like the new 360 cameras you get on the latest Audi and BMW models where it looks like you're playing a video game.

Rear heated seats, I'll never be back there, maybe a few friends and such in the back, but it's not a deal breaker more of a party trick. My 2009 Maxima has radio and climate control buttons in the rear and it's a party trick. Same as the heated seats for me.

Coasting Nuetral sounds annoying as hell to me.

The only feature that I'd like and use is the wireless charger. I have multiple.of those around my house and love them. And thanks to the aftermarket, I can purchase it, install it and it'll work exactly as advertised.

I know. This is the first time I've read about that, and I went, "What the heck is that FOR?" Must be a gas saving thing.

Anyone else notice that the AWD now seems to come with 18in tires standard now rather than the summer tires? That kinda sucks. I would have wanted AWD with the 19in summer tires. Also, strange that it doesn't get the UVO remote start although the Optima does this year. I'm not impressed... Kia giveth, and they taketh away. Glad they added the features here in the US. Maybe I'll still go ahead and test drive one.

Well, I can officially say I wish I waited. I really wanted the 360 camera!!

I was also hoping for uvo remote start. I am thinking about taking a good deal on 2018.

Ok. I am going to back track a little until this is verified. I didn’t see it on Kia’s website. Can anyone verify if this exists or if it’s a fake?

Man, I only have a Premium but they made a few things standard for it. My most wanted would be the ventilated seats. It's a hot summer!

Luckily it's not that bad since only the GT2 has the surround cameras. Hopefully I can purchase it as a dealer upgrade.

EDIT: Then again, maybe it's better I didn't wait. Seems a lot of the safety features, previously the $2k DriveWise package, are standard in the Premium now. I bet that forces the price up for features I don't want.

I have a Premium with Drive Wise. I agree that the only added feature on the 2019 Premium that I wish I had was the ventilated seats. I’m on the opposite side of you on the Drive Wise though. When I have to make a road trip in our SUV now I absolutely hate not having radar cruise. It’s fantastic.

I bet the 2019’s will end up being more expensive than the 2018’s, but it will be interesting to see what happens there.

I can't verify for sure, but multiple people who are supposedly in the know said that the 360 cam is definitely coming this year. That was pretty much my biggest want from what was left out. So yeah if you wanted that, you should have waited.

I would consider that but having used a 360 cam, I don't want another vehicle without one.

Now it makes sense why the killed the Atlantica. They just added those features standard.

That was a smart move in my opinion by Kia, why make a more expensive limited edition Atlantica when they should be included like other markets. This will make the Stinger even more attractive to buyers with more standard features.
