I got the base one don’t want to destroy engine. It does just enough to put you over 400 horsepower. What to keep car healthy for long time.
I got in touch, They will be shipping out on the 9th.
I ended up canceling the order. I went with the open source intakes insteadHey what's up man. Any word on the intake yet? Did you get yours? I sent them a message over a week ago and they didn't have any info for me as far as how long it'll take to get them back in stock. Have you heard from them recently? Really trying to be patient here lol
here is my setup 3.3TT - Open Source Intake Mod I gave them an ear full about claiming "on hand" but not actually having them.Oh yeah? What brand did you go with? Might have to do the same. Don't know why they claimed to have it in stock.
I have looked at several pages here, so why doesnt someone make the CAI from the false vents on the hood... make them "real".
Using NACA ducts?
Amazon is so funny there are so many products on Amazon listed to fit and they dont. Have you tried with drop in filter from Amazon to confirm fitment? I'm pretty sure K&N hasnt come out with a drop in filter for the Stinger yet, pretty sure the 2.0T and 3.3T take different filters too but I could be wrong
EDIT:
A drop in filter is completely different than a cone filter. Not sure if you were getting the two confused?
Not cone filter. Drop in square replacement.just talked to kn they do not make oem replacement for stinger yet
Has anyone installed these yet?
Yea a bunch of us installed them a few months back. They're on K&Ns website. 50 or 60 bucks each.
What's your thoughts? Worth while?
For performance? No.
To save money on replacement filters over the car's life? Yes.
There is an added flow rate over a paper filter but like @Kamauxx stated the main benefit is the reusability of the filters. If you're in the market for the set check them out on our website:What's your thoughts? Worth while?
