There’s no difference when using this on an owned or leased.

There’s no difference whether you have it leased, financed or paid cash.

Just take it off before you turn the car back in.

Thanks, that's what I was getting at. Knew it could be put on . Just inquiring, if any dealership issues. Web says untraceable once removed....

Even if it was traceable after being removed (via a diagnostic scan) they don’t do that on a lease turn in. They inspect that the car has all the important parts present and not excessively damaged.

Has anyone been using the jb4 with the canbus? I took mine a coupke of weeks ago, i got a cel.i removed the jb4 and reinstalled my intakes and reset the ecu, now i have an ark cb as well. I will be trying out the jb4 in conjunction w the canbus, hope it all runs smoothly. Hows everyone doing with your jb4? Anyone running custom maps?

I'm using the canbus and bluetooth with their mobile app. It's great. I love having gauges for boost, IAT, AFR and water temp.

Ran the JB4 for about two weeks on Map 2 without any problems. Installed canbus and within a day or so, began throwing codes. Sent the box back to Terry for a look. Inspection did not reveal a defect. Hooked it back up. Not 5 min in the CEL came on.

Swapped out the MAP sensor. Two days later, CEL again.

Terry suggested swapping the harness orientation. Did that a week ago and still running fine. I’ve not done any custom mapping. I also have the Ark. The code was 0106.

Went to gap the stock plugs today before returning back to map two... no bueno. First plug I pulled has a decent crack already. Guess I'll be getting plugs first!

I had the same issue, upgraded to hks plugs, hope those hold up

Harness orientation? Inhave absolutelty no idea what that means lol, care to enlighten me? I had the same code

Unless somebody figures out KIA's obd commands for atf temp, engine oil temp, etc we won't have those.

Hmmm, the app didnt havr the stinger so ised an optimas sensors, hopefully its noynheating up as much as i thought

I'm looking at a set of HKS plugs now, just trying to decide if I'm going to go with a set of M40iL plugs, or if i'll try and stick with the stock heat range and hunt down a set of M35iL.
