Burger Tuning JB4 for Kia Stinger!

Map 2 is +4psi, which from what I can see only goes to 15 ish psi. Perhaps there's a difference between AWD and RWD?

Yea, that's what it says. But map 2 has shown 18 psi on a dyno previously.

Map 2 show 18psi when I log before.

Wired. I'm waiting for my canbus cable to come in.

So you're going to run map 3 then. You could do it with a laptop. Just put your desired PSI in the value block.
I will be when I get my canbus cable in to see where the afr are at. I'm going for 20psi.

Very interesting. I'm running map 5 right now that shows 17.3 in the app, I wonder what it actually reads...

Map 5? I thought they said 1 is +3, 2 is +4, 3 is custom, and the rest are open for future development.

Have they changed their tune (get it? Changed their tune! Ha!)

I thought stocl boost was 12psi? Wpuldnt it make it 16psi since map2 is 4psi over stock, plz correct me if im wrong
Nvm for some reason i missed the previous conversations, this has already been stated lol

I’m perplexed. Within 2 days of installing the CANbus line I’ve thrown fault codes and CEL stays on. Mind you, I put over 1200 miles with the JB4 without issue prior. The first instance I got only 0106. This time the codes are 0106 and 0236. I removed and reconnected the JB after the first instance thinking I might have connected it poorly. A day later (this morning) got these two codes. Wasn’t driving it hard. Map1. Any thoughts?

That may be an overboost situation (0236). But the first code in the list is what matters. Always try to figure out which code is first. Subsequent codes are often just symptomatic of whatever made the first code appear.

I'd disconnect and inspect the connectors on both the OEM plugs and those on the JB4 cables, re-install carefully, and give it another shot, I guess.

Yeah. I did that and still had issues. I’m thinking it’s related to having run the jb cables literally on top of the engine and they’re exposed to significant heat. I pulled the OBD cable and repositioned the box. We’ll see.

Good luck!

Does that mean your change didn’t help? Sorry just confused by the last sentence.

Change fixed it. Did a poor job of explaining. Prior to the change I’d only get 20 miles or so before the CEL came on. I did 100 yesterday without a problem.
Excellent. NOw that I read it slower it makes sense.

Currently, leasing...has/is anyone throwing this bad boy on their leased Stinger? I'm so on the fence...
