Jun BL or Borla

This seems fitting...

I just got a text from my neighbor across the street asking if there is something I can do about the Stinger. It’s waking them and their 1 year old when I drive it in the mornings. I have the Borla cat-back and I know I can hear it inside my house sometimes, but for the sound to travel across the street, get inside the house and wake up everyone is well...shocking. Maybe it’s the deep and throaty sound that it has.

That sucks. How do you even reply to a text like that? "Sure I'll put my stock exhaust back on"?

Maybe if you back in when you park so the exhaust isn't pointed in his direction? But then the sound might bounce off your house and make it worse.

They must have their windows open then. I can't imagine it being that loud.

Exactly.. that was my thought at first.

I'll do you a big favor and trade you for my stock exhaust to quiet you back up. My neighbors won't mind as they are used to my Mustang which I can hear upstairs in the shower when the wife starts it up and rumbles the windows...lol

As it is an impossible request turn it back on them and say "With in reason what would you like me to do is there a solution you can think off? If they say remove the exhaust or something along those lines just say 'Sorry that's not an option'

That's crazy man. And it sucks cause you obviously have a relationship with him. Hopefully it was just a case of parking it in the driveway as you suggested.
My Cobra is easily 5 times louder, it’s honestly as loud as a Harley with dragpipes. I drove it twice to work a couple weeks ago and never heard a peep.

I’m going to try and back it up and hope it doesn’t amplify the sound off my garage. My 2 year old daughters room is right there above the garage and has never woken up to the sound. So we’ll see how next week goes.

Needless to say, If anyone is interested...Borla is loud, according to neighbors.

Facing the same dilemma.. my questions is, will "EVC JUN B.L" be integrated electronically with the system modes (comfort, sport, eco.. etc.) Like the Aussie Bi-Model Exhaust.

I know that Jun B.L has a button to close and open the valves. How does it work? Is it integrated? Or just a normal button. Any JUN B.L installers out there that clarify this matter?

P.S below is a clip of JUN B.L EVC

I have the EVC system on my Stinger
I have that feeling too.. listen to this. It's sound good.
Salman, that's my baby in the video. If you have any questions shoot away. It wasn't that hard to install.

Now thats nice.

You noisy people! Here Kia goes to lengths to produce a car that is quiet in the cabin. And you all are saying "nuh uh!" to that!? I'm not changing a thing.

With that quip i had to check your profile.....as i thought "old" . Whats not to like about that throaty roar. My exhausts on order. We'll see you might be right.

Sorry my emoggess didn't load again:D:D:D:D:p:p i had them strategically placed before:D:D

I've always been "old". It's a mindset. And although race car engines enthrall me, it makes little to no sense to buy a luxury car and turn it into what sounds like a hot rod. But if there is ONE thing on this planet that produces a wealth of decisions that make little to no sense, it is what people choose to do to their cars. :D

Everyone has their own opinion, mine is I wanted my stinger louder and I'm old also.

Most of the guys driving Z06s, ZR1s, and Vipers are in their 100s and they love a loud exhaust (even though they rarely go above 2k RPMs).

It's all about individual tastes not age.

Lots of hearing loss among the aging. High frequency in particular. So the music of a rumbling exhaust becomes even more fulfilling than surround sound systems. I can accept that. Look at how many Baby Boomer Pig Riders there are. :P

Could you take a video driving away and full throttle and a interior video at 2 to 3k rpm and @ upper rpm.
I'm sure many will appreciate thanks man
