What did you do to your Kia Stinger today?

In that context, then I will have to agree with you. We are referring to two very different platforms and turbo technologies. The Stinger 3.3 uses ball bearing turbos, which spool a lot faster and are less punishing on the oil, due to the reduced friction, when compared to the thrust/journal bearing turbos. In the case of the diesel engines, I can definitely understand the advantage of letting things cool down a bit before shutting it off as those engines tend to run hotter than gasoline.
It’s kind of a trained response for me. I’ve just become more aware of engine temps and longevity of performance parts due to heat fatigue and wear.

Had been finding spider webs in car but not the spider. Finally whilst detailing the car I saw a huge red back spider sitting in the HUD admiring himself. Consequently it was his last look at himself as I squished him!
Another dangerous Australian resident which if bitten can cause big issues. They grow to about 2 cms small but nasty.

Hey there @AV8R , how would a spider get inside your Stinger, have you ever left a window slightly open whilst parked at home, like for an extended time ?

It took longer to tape it than the install did. I used a single
strip on all four sides. The tape is very soft so overlapping the adjacent side then cutting the angle was very easy and allowed for no gaps at the corners. I then peeled the corners of the different sections back leaving a tail. Set the piece and lined it up then just pulled the tape back while in place. I did not use the supplied tape as it seemed a little thin. I did get wider 1/2” 3M tape. Overall maybe a 15 minute job. A side note, I held the edge of the tape a hair away from the edge of the spoiler maybe a 1/16”. I was concerned with being able to see a tape edge. The tape is completely unseen.
Thanks @Bryan2.0 I have also purchased 10mm wide 3M automotive tape, thanks for the heads up for not taping up the the edges, I was also thinking that as well, overall are you happy with the result? I also have the S Type, yet to be painted but umming & arrhing on whether to do it or not, damn I hate procrastination...lol.

It looks to me like the car came with it from the factory. My wife who typically could care less about the goodies I get for the car even thinks it looks better. My suggestion would be to paint it the body color. Cheers

they are real little circle vents :cautious:
it may not be everyone's cup of tea and they might not be that factional
but are not fake and they do look more real than original.
You drilled into the original?

Just got these in today. Now to wait until I get them installed.
