What did you do to your Kia Stinger today?

I put in a Roar Pedal today but had to quickly disconnect it. Seems that just like my aFe intake fiasco, my -23 simply does NOT like mods and spat out another P0049 overboost code.

I have a LAP3 ECU ordered so will try the RP again when the ECU is in place. (sigh)

The RP definitely works though

Was it only difficult locating the spring clips that you need to push in order to remove the airbag? Or was there other difficulties?

Yes it is difficult for me to locate the springs as a first time

Hello, Carlinkit from Aliexpress, connected to KIA, downloaded Mando, connected to BT adapter in car

I have this setup but I’m not getting this behavior, as in Mando does not show as an app with CarPlay available. Everything else I would expect to work through CarPlay does work as expected (maps, phone, messages, Amazon music, Waze, Google maps, etc), but Mando isn’t listed in the CarPlay setup on the iPhone.

May I ask what version of the Carlinkit WiFi adapter you’re using and what version of firmware?

Is the order of installation important? Meaning, should Mando be on the iPhone before connecting with WiFi for the first time, or reverse of that?

Unfortunately I have Android, not iPhone, so I can't help you with that. I'm using a Carlinkit AI box 8/128GB and I have Mando directly in Carlinkit, not on my phone.

I’m guessing that Carlinkit has added the capability to have software installed directly to it since I got mine in 2022. Mine only serves as a Bluetooth to WiFi replacement of the USB-A cable.

Time to shop, I guess.

Oh, I see… They’ve made many new improvements since I last checked them out!

Looks like the AI box is only available as a European option, not North America…

Looks awesome! How's the dual bronze color? Pics I've seen from Stance look way more gold tinged, are your pics pretty accurate colorwise? I feel like a true bronze wheel is a little too much for my Panthera Stinger, but in your pics it looks like it would be perfect.

Also, what's your exhaust tip setup? Those come with the Xforce or are they a separate piece?

I'm going on 3 weeks waiting for my LAP3 ECU to come in so I can reinstall my intakes, Roar Pedal and black/black VT snorkels. Will likely get a black mishimoto fmic next but everything hinges on the ECU for my fussy -23
